Saturday, November 13, 2004 Leo F. Guinard Sr. WESTBROOK - Leo F. Guinard Sr. passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004. He was born in Portland, the son of Henry and Helen Gordon Guinard. He was brought up in Portland and attended Portland schools. Leo served in the Navy. He worked as a truck driver for various companies for many years. He was an avid archer and enjoyed hunting and being in the woods. He also enjoyed woodworking and doing things with his hands. He was predeceased by a son, Leo Frank Guinard Jr. in 1986; a brother, Henry Guinard Jr.; and a sister, Helen Hunnewell. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Taylor Guinard of Westbrook; three daughters, JoEllen Atherton of Dayton, Nannette D'Amour of South Portland, and Paulette Guinard of Portland; a half-brother, Alfred Perreault of Vermont; a half-sister, Donna Sayah of Windsor, Vt.; and five grandchildren, Alan, David, Joseph, Andrew, and Elizabeth. Visiting hours will be from 2-4 p.m., Sunday at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Westbrook.
