    3. 10/29/2004ELIZABETH DORIS ADAMS MILTON - Elizabeth Doris Adams, 93, died early Thursday morning, Oct. 28, 2004, in the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans surrounded by her loving family. Elizabeth was born Oct. 11, 1911, in Milton, the daughter of Rector and Anne (Robar) Lapan. She married Kenneth Adams on Nov. 26, 1933. They were married for over 64 years when Ken died in 1998. Elizabeth was a member and lector at St. Ann Catholic Church in Milton. She was a past master of the Milton Grange 522 and the Deputy of Junior Grange Pomona, for the State Grange. She is survived by her children, Maurice "Mike" Adams and his wife Jeanette of Milton, Bradley Adams and his wife Maureen of Bakersfield; her daughters-in-law, Shirley Adams of Milton, and Beulah Adams of Underhill; by her son-in-law, Charles Turner Jr. of Milton; her grandchildren and spouses, Michelle and Michael Desranleau, Craig Adams, Matthew and Doris Adams, Tamara and Dale Duffy, Melanie and Ed Burleigh, Connie Turner, Myron and Ruth Turner, Casey and Terri Adams, Dulsey Adams; by her great-grandchildren Corey, Deanna, Liza, Isaac, and Naomi Desranleau, Corey, Jamaica and Hunter Adams, Darren Adams and Tyler Duffy, Christopher and Jenna Burleigh, Mason and Ryan Turner, Benjamin Adams and Erin Adams. She is also survived by her sisters, Marguerite Ladieu and Kathleen King; and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Kenneth, she was predeceased by her daughter, Helen Turner in 1972; her son, Richard Kenneth Adams in 1990; her sisters, Lulu Heimsoth, Elaine Gibson, Lorraine Blaine; and her brothers, Donald and Maurice Lapan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Oct. 29, at noon in St. Ann Catholic Church in Milton. Burial will follow in the Milton Village Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Milton Rescue , P.O. Box 15, Milton, Vt. 05468 or to a charity of your choice. Elizabeth's family will receive friends Friday, Oct. 29, from 11 to noon in St. Ann Catholic Church on Main Street in Milton. A reception will follow the burial in St. Ann's Church Hall, where all are welcomed to attend. Arrangements were by the Minor Funeral Home in Milton.
