Charles A. Rivers Charles A. Rivers 1917 - 2004 CARVER - Charles A. Rivers, formerly of Agawam, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004 at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth, at the age of 87. He was born on July 27, 1917, in Agawam, to Levi and Amelia (LaMontagne) Rivers. He was a printer for over 40 years, a Carver resident for 24 years, and a graduate of Agawam High School. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church, and member of OWLS Food Bank at the church. He was the husband of the late Mary (Connelly) Rivers and Ruth (Robinson) Rivers. Father of Bud Chase of NJ, David Chase of CT, Robert Chase of Maryland, Greg Chase of Hatfield, MA, and Mary Wagner of WI. Brother of Althea Cowles of Agawam, Adrienne Alvigini of Feeding Hills, MA, Lawrence Rivers of Springfield, Earl Rivers of Agawam, Robert Rivers of Agawam, Dolores Kehoe of W. Hartford, CT, and the late Beulah Colli and Roland Rivers. He is the grandfather of 13; and great-grandfather of 3. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004 at the Central Baptist Church in Middleboro at 12 pm. Donations can be made to the Central Baptist Church Food Bank, P.O.
