DANIEL L. GIBEAULT - Central Falls 01:00 AM EST on Thursday, November 4, 2004 DANIEL L. GIBEAULT, 85, of Earle Street, a carpenter foreman employed by the state before he retired, died Tuesday at Haven Health Center, Pawtucket. He was the husband of Lucille (Moreau) Gibeault. Born in Churubusco, N.Y., a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Gibeault, he had lived in Central Falls most of his life. Mr. Gibeault was employed by the State of Rhode Island as a carpentry foreman at the former Medical Center, in Cranston, until his retirement in 1984. He was a member of the Carpenters Union. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and served with Company K, 272nd Infantry, in Normandy, the Rhineland and Central Europe. He received the Purple Heart and the Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon with Bronze Service Arrowhead. He was a member of Eugene T. Lefebvre VFW Post 1271. Besides his wife, he leaves a stepson, Douglas St. Louis in North Carolina; a brother, William Gibeault of Pawtucket; two nieces, Irene Remy of Cumberland and Florida, and Sister Ann Gibeault, SSJ, of Cumberland; and two step-grandsons. He was the brother of the late Victor, Alfred, Alvah, Francis, Lucie, Hattie and Marie Rose Gibeault. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. from Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Matthew Church, Dexter Street, Central Falls. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
