LEO L. SOUCY - Lincoln 01:00 AM EST on Monday, November 1, 2004 LEO L. SOUCY, 74, of Camp Road, East Burke, Vt., formerly of Lincoln and Cumberland, a retired toolmaker, died yesterday at home. He was the husband of Noella (LaMontagne) Soucy. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 16. Born in Lincoln, a son of the late Laurent and Marie (Matthew) Soucy, he had lived in Lincoln and Cumberland most of his life before moving to Vermont in 2001. Mr. Soucy had been employed as a toolmaker at Northrup Corp. for 37 years, retiring in 1994. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, and a former member of the National Rifle Association. Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Ronald and Robert Soucy, both in Vermont, and Raymond Soucy in California; four daughters, Donna Sidla of Cumberland, Denise Field of Franklin, Mass., Diane McMahon of Lincoln and Debra Dunbar in Vermont; four brothers, Gerard, Lawrence and Robert Soucy, all of Pawtucket, and Alcide Soucy of Lincoln; four sisters, Theresa Daigle in New York, Irene Soucy and Rita Dube, both of Providence, and Doria Pullano of Cumberland; and 12 grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. from Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Matthew Church, Dexter Street, Central Falls. Burial will be private.
