Ethier, Patricia Print This ArticleE-mail This Article Published on 11/4/2004 Woonsocket, R.I. - Patricia Ann (Bartlett) Ethier, 66, of Blackstone Street, and formerly of Millville, Mass., and Nasonville, R.I., died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, in Rhode Island Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Alfred Raymond Ethier, who died April 14, 1999. Born in Woonsocket, R.I., March 14, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Stephen A. and Mary (St. Jean) Bartlett and had been a Burrillville resident since 1986. She was a graduate of St. Clare High School and received a bachelor's degree from the Anna Maria College. She and her husband were married on July 2, 1960. Mrs. Ethier had been employed for many years as an elementary school teacher for the Woonsocket school system. She and her husband enjoyed ballroom- and square-dancing. They also sang in church musicals after volunteering in local nursing homes and hospitals through the TMT Group and the Caravan of Cheers. She is survived by a son, Kevin A. Ethier, of Cranston, R.I.; and a daughter, Mrs. Karen Ethier-Waring, of Mystic; and three grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Stephen A. Bartlett, who died in 1991, and Eleanor F. Bartlett, who died in 2001. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from the Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main Street, Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Saint Theresa's Church, Nasonville. Burial will be in Saint Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, Mass. Calling hours will be held on Thursday in the Fournier Funeral Home. The Kilcline Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Woonsocket, is in charge of the arrangements.
