Friday, November 19, 2004 Margaret M. (Melanson) Wescott HAVERHILL -- Margaret M. (Melanson) Wescott, 88, died Wednesday at Penacook Place. She worked at Hunt Memorial Hospital in Danvers before retiring in 1977. Born and educated in Lynn, Mrs. Wescott graduated from Lynn English High School in 1934 and lived in Danvers and Barrington, N.H., before moving to Haverhill in 1978. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish and the Marrivista Women's Club, both in Haverhill. She leaves her husband of 65 years Elmer M. Wescott; son Donald M. and his wife Eileen B. of Swampscott; daughter Donna M. Panarello of Haverhill; sisters Rita M. Rose of California and Helen M. LeBrun of Danvers; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Dorothy W. Cormier. ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours are tomorrow from 3 to 5 p.m. with funeral services at 5 p.m. at C. Frank Linnehan & Son Bradford Funeral Home, 52 Salem St., Haverhill.
