Cecile R. Shewchuk Cecile R. Shewchuk 1919 - 2004 AGAWAM - Cecile R. ( Labrie ) Shewchuk, 84, of Agawam, died Nov. 2, 2004 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home. Born in Holyoke on Dec. 13, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Alyre and Anna (Sansoucie) Labrie. She worked in the Circulation Department of the former Transcript Telegram Newspaper for several years before her retirement. She was the wife of the late Edward Shewchuk who died in 2000, and was also predeceased by her grandson, Deputy Brian R. Litz in 2004. She is survived by her son, Leonard and his wife Shirley of Agawam; her daughter, Nancy Litz and her husband Raymond of Agawam; a brother, Norman Labrie; and two sisters, Edna St. Sauveur and Claire DeRoy, all of Chicopee; two grandchildren, Kevin Shewchuk and Scott Litz; and two great-grandchildren, Brian Litz and Jack Litz. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass that will be held on Monday, Nov. 8th, at 11:00 am, in St Patrick's Church South Hadley.
