Elizabeth C. Cox Elizabeth C. Cox 1919 - 2004 SOUTH HADLEY - Elizabeth C. (Charron) Cox, 84, of South Hadley, died at home Sunday, November 7, 2004, surrounded by her family. She was a lifelong resident of South Hadley and the daughter of the late John and Minnie (Pfeiffer) Charron. Elizabeth had worked in food service at Mt. Holyoke College. Elizabeth was a lifelong communicant of St. Patrick Church, South Hadley and with her husband gave support to many of its activities. She loved her family, her home and was always cheerful, kind and generous to everyone she knew or met. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Howard F. Cox, in 1997. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Lemek and her husband Ronald of Ellington, CT; her son, Howard Cox and his wife Linda of Bokeelia, FL, and her son John Cox and his wife Kerry of Monson. She leaves her sister, Joan Hebert and her husband George, and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Charron, all of South Hadley. Elizabeth was predeceased by her brothers Alfred, John and Francis Charron. Elizabeth was the loving grandmother of Craig and Jodi Cox, Lynn and Marc Ouellet, Stacy and Mario Ferrero, and Brian Lemek; and the great-grand-mother of Patrick, Justin, Andrew, Olivia, Lynsey, and Kelsey. She also has several nieces and nephews. Elizabeth's family would like to give special thanks to Marie of Hospice Life Care and to Elizabeth's caring neighbors for their love and support. The funeral will be held Friday morning 8:30 a.m. from the Ryder Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Church with burial in St. Rose Cemetery, all in South Hadley.
