Pearl Lodenia Goodroe Ticonderoga - Pearl Lodenia Goodroe, 84, of Ticonderoga, passed away Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at the Moses-Ludington Nursing Home of Ticonderoga. She was born in Burlington, Vt., on Dec. 28, 1919, the daughter of the late Napolean and Mabel Fregon. Mrs. Goodroe was a lifelong Ticonderoga resident. She was very active at the nursing home and she enjoyed socializing with the other residents. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon J. Goodroe, in 1991. Survivors include one son, Randy G. Goodroe of Arkansas; two daughters, Barbara A. Robb of Mason, N.H., and Donna Blowers of Crown Point. She is also survived by many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and her friends, Harold McGuinness Jr. and Diane Howard. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wilcox & Regan funeral home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga. A funeral service will take place Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. William G. Muench, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Ticonderoga, will officiate. The Rite of Committal will follow at the family plot of the Valley View Cemetery of Ticonderoga.
