    3. Richard S. St. Onge Richard S. St. Onge 1932 - 2004 EAST LONGMEADOW - Richard S. St. Onge, 72, beloved husband for 50 years to Faith (Barbier) St. Onge, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004 at his home, following an illness, and surrounded by his family. Born in Ware, Richard was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving his country overseas during the Korean Conflict. A resident of East Longmeadow for 47 years, Richard was a longtime parishioner of St. Michael's Church, where he was also one of the church's Eucharistic Ministers and Altar Servers. A Charter Member and Past President of the East Longmeadow Jaycees, Richard was honored as a J.C.I. Senator. A large part of his life was his devotion for over 32 years to the Cursillo Movement of Western Massachusetts. Richard was also recognized as an Ambassador of the Weldon Rehabilitation Center, Springfield. A toolmaker for 45 years, before his retirement in 1998, Richard was the owner of Flag Precision, Inc., East Longmeadow, for 25 years. Besides his wife, Richard also leaves a devoted son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Terry St. Onge of Washington State; a devoted daughter and son-in-law, Paula and David Barstow of Hadley; and 4 cherished grandchildren, Denise and Claire Barstow, Timothy and Samantha St. Onge; a sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Leo Comeau of Springfield; a niece and a nephew. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday (November 12th, 2004) at 2:00 p.m. in St. Michael's Church, 110 Maple Street, East Longmeadow. Richard's family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:30 p.m. until the time of the Mass. Respectfully, the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy be made to St. Michael's Capital Improvement Fund, 128 Maple St., East Longmeadow, 01028; or H.C.H.S. Capital Campaign, 66 School Street, Granby, MA 01033. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Forastiere-Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow.
