ROBERT R. DESROSIERS - Fall River 01:00 AM EST on Friday, November 19, 2004 ROBERT R. DESROSIERS, 65, of Highland Avenue, formerly of Bates Street, a retired maintenance worker, died yesterday at Highlander Rehabilitative Nursing Center. He was the former husband of Claire R. (Belisle) Desrosiers of Fall River. Born in Fall River, a son of the late Joseph and Helen (Flynn) Desrosiers, he was a lifelong resident of the city. Mr. Desrosiers had worked in the maintenance department for the U.S. Postal Service at the Hastings-Keith Federal Building in New Bedford before retiring. Mr. Desrosiers was an Army veteran. He had been a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church. He loved his dog, Beju. Besides his former wife, he leaves two brothers, David Desrosiers of Dartmouth, Mass., and Paul Desrosiers of Fall River; a sister, Mary Rose Freeborn of Berkley, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews. He was a brother of the late Norman, Leo and Raymond Desrosiers, Alice Fiola and Helen Bastille. The funeral and burial will be private.
