Vaughn R. Terrio Vaughn R. Terrio 1921 - 2004 SOUTHWICK - Vaughn R. Terrio, 83, died Friday, November 5, 2004 at the Soldiers Home in Holyoke. He was born in Millinocket, ME and was the son of the late Vernon and Helen Terrio. Vaughn was married to the late Dorothy (Hanks) Terrio who died in 1994. He was a Navy veteran of World War Two and Korea, and had retired in 1984 from the U.S. Postal Service where he was a mailman in Southwick. Vaughn was a member of Mount Moriah Lodge of Masons in Westfield and the Connecticut Valley of Scottish Rite in Springfield. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, basketball, football and had bowled for the Southwick Men's Bowling League. Vaughn leaves two step-sons, Richard Frigon and his wife Anne of Arlington, VA, Arthur Frigon and his wife Barbara of Belchertown; a step-daughter, Gloria Cahill and her husband Jack of Hurst, TX; a brother, Benjamin Terrio of Millinocket, ME; and a sister, Jackie Milley of Melbourne, FL. He also leaves seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. His brother Glen Terrio and sister Gloria Midura predeceased him. The burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
