Langevin METHUEN -- Russell E. Langevin, 81, died yesterday at Lawrence General Hospital. Mr. Langevin was vice president of Lawrence Savings Bank before he retired. He was born and educated in Worcester. He was a charter member and first president of the Samuel Osgood Stamp Club. He was a field executive for the Boy Scouts of America, Essex Council, and was a member of the Lawrence Credit Bureau. He leaves wife Shirley (Lovell) Langevin; son and daughter-in-law Robert and Susan of North Andover; daughter and son-in-law Sheila and Joseph Schabhetl of Derry, N.H.; brother Louis L. of Methuen; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was also father of the late Barbara Boggiatto. Memorials may be made to Lawrence General School of Nursing, Alumni Fund, 1 General St., Lawrence, MA 01842.
