Vincent Taillon age 84. Beloved husband of Doris Norman. Loving father of Monique (Brent Petersen), Anne (James Hobson), Peter (Lorraine Byerley), Michelle and Marie. Doting grandfather of David and Sarah Hobson and Thomas, Elizabeth, Marie and James Petersen. Dear brother of Leo and Kathleen Taillon. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Son of the late William Samuel and Mary Albina (Major) of Williamstown. Predeceased by brothers Albert and Raymond and sisters Rita Collins, Veronica and Elaine Taillon. Accomplishments: Wartime military service R.C.A.F., Senior Officer of Air Transport Board and Secretary of Air Transport Committee of Canada. Founding member of Holy Cross Parish. Long-time member of Highlands Golf Club, where he organized numerous charity tournaments. Former member Board of Directors and local Branch Manager of FSNA (Federal Superannuates National Association). Enthusiastic member of the R.A. Bowling League. Long-time volunteer at Saint Patrick's Home. Thanks to the staff at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic and General Campuses for treating Vince with kindness, always respecting his dignity as a person. Special thanks to Dr. Mansour for his care and friendship, and Dr. Regnier for her guidance and compassion. Also gratitude to all those who remembered Vince in their prayers.
