Vera Elizabeth Davies Burke OBITUARY VERA ELIZABETH DAVIES BURKE Passed away peacefully on November 19, 2004 in her one hundredth year. Beloved wife of the late Edward J.S. Burke. Loving mother of Barbara Kalhok (Anthony) of Westmount, and Timothy Burke (Penelope Whitmore) of Ottawa. Proud Gammy of Stephen Kalhok (Swarna Mathi) and Maria Kalhok (Yves LeBolloch), and great-grandmother of Matthew, Vanessa, Stephanie, Daniel and Jeremy. Vera's thoughtfulness and kindness will be greatly missed by her many friends and relatives. Special thanks to the staff at St. Mary's and Le Strathmore for their compassionate care. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 22 in the Rideau Funeral Chapel, 4275 Sources Road, Dollard des Ormeaux. Visitation with family will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Quebec City will be held at a later date.
