Death Notices (11/23/04) BRUNET, Georgette (nee Ranger) The Brunet family wishes regretfully to inform you of the death of Mrs. Georgette Brunet who died peacefully at the Montfort Hospital on Sunday evening November 21, 2004, at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her parents Wilfrid Ranger and Cordelia Vaillancourt; her husband Raphael "Ralph" Brunet; a sister Cecile (the late Clement Aubin); four brothers: Emile, Aurele, Gerard and Jean-Paul. She also leaves to mourn her loss her four children: Raymond (Paulette Lemay), Claude (Jocelyne Lariviere), Lorraine (Carol Chouinard) and Richard (Lyse Casault); seven grandchildren: her goddaughter Louise Brunet (Claude Duguay), Julie Brunet (Stefan Filion), Johanne Chouinard, Luc Chouinard (Melanie Guertin), Stephane Brunet (Christine Clutton), Christian Brunet and Martine Brunet (Danny Levesque); eight great-grandchildren: Melanie Duguay, Melissa Duguay, Monika Duguay, Nicholas Brunet-Filion, Gabriel Brunet-Filion, Kassandra Chouinard-Charbonneau, Derek Chouinard-Paquette and Alek Chouinard; a sister Therese (Robert Parent); as well as numerous nephews, nieces and friends. There will be no visits at the funeral home. A commemorative Mass in the presence of her ashes will be celebrated on Thursday November 25th at 11 a.m. in Ste-Genevieve Church, 825 Canterbury Ave., Ottawa. The family will receive your condolences 30 minutes before the religious service and during a reception in the church basement following the ceremony.
