11/16/2004PAULINE M. GREENOUGH ESSEX JUNCTION - Pauline M. Greenough, 57, of Essex Junction died unexpectedly Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington due to cardiac complications. She was born in Vergennes on June 14, 1947, the daughter of the late Fortunat and Mary (Goulette) Tarte. Pauline had been employed with IBM for over 26 years, retiring in 2002. Since her retirement, Pauline/Mom/Nana was able to enjoy her many interests. She had many happy days walking and enjoying nature with her dog "Bella." Spending time with her grandchildren brought her many laughs and them many memories. Her unique sense of humor will be missed. Pauline is survived by her husband, Richard A. of Essex Junction; her daughter, Veronica Beauregard and her husband, Peter, of Williston; three grandchildren, Chelsea, Eric and Alexander; one stepson, Colin Greenough and his wife, Melissa and their son, Pierce, of Land O'Lakes, Fla.; three sisters, Janet Cook of Basking Ridge, N.J., Dorothy Kieslich of Burlington, and Lorraine Turner of Highgate; one brother, Roger Tarte of Walesca, Ga.; several nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law, Helen Greenough of Burlington and a brother-in-law, David Greenough of North Hero. She was also predeceased by a brother, Maurice Tarte, in 2001. Services will be private and at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pauline's memory may be made to the Humane Society of Chittenden County, 142 Kindness Court, South Burlington, Vt. 05403, for feed and neutering of cats and dogs.
