IRENE D. (CLEMENT) FORTIN - Fall River 01:00 AM EST on Saturday, November 20, 2004 IRENE D. (CLEMENT) FORTIN, 95, of Borden Street, a homemaker, died yesterday at Nicholas House, Fairhaven, Mass. She was the wife of the late Eli Fortin. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Emma (Prattaboire) Clement, she lived in Fall River all her life. She was a parishioner of Notre Dame Church, and a member of the Borden Seniors Association. She leaves a son, Romeo A. Fortin of Westport; a brother, Leo Clement of Somerset; two sisters, Claire Bouchard of Buena Park, Calif., and Rita Petrosso of Swansea; and a granddaughter, four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Normand, Hector, Henry and Arthur Clement, Germaine Sabatino, Flora McClendon, Reina Fortin, Bertha Gosselin, Annette Gagnon and Lillian Placido. The funeral will be held Monday at 8:30 a.m. from Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in Notre Dame Church, 529 Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
