Emilyn Catlin Gaudreau, 87 SCARBOROUGH - Emilyn Catlin Gaudreau, 87, of Cape Elizabeth, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004 at Piper Shores, Scarborough. She was born in Ellsworth, June 23, 1917, a daughter of Byron W. Catlin Sr. and Hazel Holt Catlin. She graduated from South Portland High School and from the Maine Eye and Ear Infirmary School of Nursing. She also attended post graduate courses at St. John's Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y. Mrs. Gaudreau retired as a registered nurse having worked private duty and for local nursing homes. She had been a member of the University of Maine Women of Extension, member of the Maine Eye and Ear Infirmary Alumni, member of the American and Maine Nurses Associations, member of the South Maine Senior Citizens and a former member of the Y.W.C.A. Her husband, Lawrence G. 'Joe" Gaudreau died in 1997. She is survived by a son, Lawrence G. 'Skeet" Gaudreau Jr., and his wife, Paulette of Cape Elizabeth; three grandchildren, Shawn Gaudreau and his wife, Lesley, Jason Gaudreau and his wife, Heather and Nicole Burton and her husband, Christopher; five great - grandchildren, Jordan Gaudreau, Jayden Gaudreau, Ryan Gaudreau, Lydia Gaudreau and Andrew Gaudreau. Memorial services will be private.
