    3. Rose Morel EPPING - Marie Rose Anna Grace (David) Morel, 93, of Epping, died Nov. 20, 2004, three days short of her 94th birthday, at Rockingham Nursing Home, after a period failing health. Born in Lowell, Mass., Nov. 23, 1910, she was the daughter of Adolphus and Marie (Dumas) David. She had lived the early part of her life in Haverhill, Mass., married and moved to Epping in 1942, where she resided for 52 years until entering the Rockingham Nursing Home in 1993. She worked for years as a shoe worker and was then employed at Western Electric in No. Andover where she retired. She was married in 1942 to Andrew P. Morel and she aided him in his duties, for many years, to the Town of Epping; Water Department, Police Department and housed, in their home, the phone and alarm system for the Epping Fire Department. Her husband died in September of 1981. She had also served as a member on the Epping Voters Checklist Committee. She played the piano and ukulele, was an avid card player, enjoyed reading, crocheting, rose gardens and being with family and friends. She will be best remembered for her quick wit, very outspoken nature, sense of humor and her Southern Comfort soaked cherries. She is survived by a daughter, Gerry R. West and her life partner, Warren Trefethen of Epping; a grandson and his wife, David Michael West and Michelle; a great-grandson, Michael David West of Nottingham; and one sister, Rita Gorski of Bradford, Mass.; sister-in-law, Rita Poliquin of Epping; and Margarete Sheehan of Waltham, Mass.; and many, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Morel; her son, Andrew Morel Jr.; her granddaughter, Lisa Marie West and 11 siblings; sisters, Eva Reahume, Ora Denault, Rena Chapman, Louise Ratte, Emma Molanski, Irene Jones and Marie Cerasoulo; brothers, Albert David, Bob David, Adolphus David and Edmund David. Adolphus and Edmund were the first of 13 children in their family to die, they died 13 hours apart, were both born on the 13th and were buried on Friday, the 13th. - - - Calling hours are Monday, Nov. 22 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, Epping. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery, Epping. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rockingham County Nursing Home, 117 North Road, Brentwood, N.H. 03833.
