    3. Marcel Joseph Tanguay Marcel Joseph Tanguay 1927 - 2004 CHICOPEE - Marcel "Marc" J. Tanguay, 77, of Royal Street, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2004, at his home, following a long illness, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Holyoke, he was a son of the late Ernest and Germaine (Dumas) Tanguay. His early years were spent in Granby, where he and his wife raised their family. Mr. Tanguay was employed for 32 years at Acme Chain Co., Holyoke. In 1982 he retired as production control manager, and enjoyed his retirement years in Brewster, MA and Davie, FL. He moved to Chicopee four years ago. Marcel was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was also an avid fisherman. Mr. Tanguary leaves his beloved wife of 57 years the former Doris Auclair, his devoted daughters Carol Tessier and and her husband, Hank of Chicopee, Susan Denette and her husband Marty of Ludlow, June Chartier and her husband Larry of Brewster, 2 dear sisters Evelyn Chliszczyk and Juliette McDonald both of Chicopee, 9 adored grandchildren, 8 cherished great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins. Besides his parents Marcel was also predeceased by a sister Cecile Auclair. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2204, at 9:00 a.m. in St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee. There are no calling hours. Respectfully, relatives and friends are requested to please omit flowers. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy, in Marcel's memory be made to the Baystate Visiting Nurses Assoc. and Hospice, 50 Maple Street, Box 9058, Springfield, MA 01102-9058, or to a charity of the donor's intention.
