Angeline L. Fortier November 20, 2004 BRATTLEBORO - Angeline Lillian "Angie" Fortier, 86, died Nov. 18, 2004, at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 30, 1918, in Dorset, Quebec, the daughter of Onesime and Rose-Anna (Rancourt) Hallie, and attended local schools in Dorset. She married Fernand Fortier on June 9, 1947. He died in 1986. Mrs. Fortier worked at the Putney School as a pastry chef from 1957 to 1980, and previously worked at Basketville and Putney Converting Plant. After her retirement, she worked part-time at Green Mountain Orchards in Putney. She was a communicant of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Brattleboro, and a volunteer with RSVP, assisting with Rescue Inc.'s annual appeal. She enjoyed cooking and playing cards. Survivors include two sons, Jean'Pierre Fortier and Raymond Fortier, both of Putney; three daughters, Nicole Wood of Sanford, Fla., Diane Cleveland of West Brattleboro and Michelle Grover of Dummerston; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Parish Cemetery.
