Noella Demers SOUTH BERWICK, Maine - Albina Noella Demers, 83, formerly of Berwick Road, South Berwick, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, at the Riverside Rest Home in Dover, N.H. Born in Pittsfield, Mass., on Dec. 13, 1920, she was the daughter of Albert and Sophrine (Vallier) Archambault. She was a 50-year resident of South Berwick and later lived in Somersworth, N.H., prior to going to Riverside Rest Home in Dover about 10 years ago. She had worked as a stitcher for the South Berwick Shoe Co. and was a member of the South Berwick Senior Center and the Rollinsford American Legion Auxiliary. She was a former member of St. Michael's Church and was a member of the choir. She was the widow of Richard Demers, who died in 1992, and was also predeceased by her son, Norman A. Demers, who died in 1997. She is survived by two granddaughters, Jennifer Knight of Rochester, N.H., Tracie Morey of Penacook, N.H.; three great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Claire Demers, of York; a sister, Rachel (Beaudet) Harley, of Somersworth, and nieces and nephews. ---- Relatives and friends are invited to call Sunday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the McIntire-McCooey Funeral Home, 301 Main St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Michael' s Church, Young St. with the Rev.
