    3. 11/14/2004MARLENE MAE PAQUETTE COLCHESTER - Marlene Mae Paquette, 67, of Colchester died unexpectedly Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, in Holden Beach, N.C. She was born in Williston, April 3, 1937, the daughter of the late Clifford and Dorothy (Vanderhoof) Begins. She attended Burlington schools, and was married to Lee Paquette on June 16, 1956, in St. Stephen Catholic Church in Winooski. Marlene worked as a house keeper for many years and later was employed with the Zackary's family. She was a dedicated mother who loved being at home with her family. She also enjoyed gardening, fishing, and going to garage sales, and was an avid horseshoe player. Marlene is survived by her husband of 48 years, Lee Paquette of Colchester; her five children, Teela Dufresne of Colchester, Rhonda Superneau and her husband Paul of Colchester, Marla Marshall and her husband Jeffery of Mooers Forks, N.Y., Norma Paquette and her companion Paul Schnabel of Colchester, Randy Paquette and his companion Cheri Bennett of Burlington; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six brothers and sisters, Raymond and Robert Begins, Greta Olney, Barbara Bissette, Dorothy Martin and Chester Begins; and many special nieces, nephews and close friends. She was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Nov. 16, at 11 a.m. in St. Stephen Catholic Church. Interment will follow in New Mount Calvary Cemetery in Burlington. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Vermont Division, 13 Loomis St., Montpelier, Vt. 05602. Visiting hours will be Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the LaVigne Funeral Home, 132 Main St., Winooski.
