Milton J. King Milton J. King 1925 - 2004 WESTFIELD - Milton J. King, 79, of 45 Warfield Drive, died Wednesday, October 27th 2004 in the Soldier's Home in Holyoke. He was born on September 6, 1925 in Springfield to the late Redford and Rose (Belanger) King. He was a 1943 graduate of the former West Springfield Catholic School. Milton was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WW-2 and was an Electrician's Mate Third Class. He was a Supervisor for Sears in the Electronic Dept. for 20 years retiring in 1988. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church. His hobbies were woodworking and gardening. Milton leaves his wife of 56 years Mildred A. (Blair) King, one son Gary J. King of NH, two daughters Diane P. Coons of North Lauderdale, FL, and Charlene A. Bennett of Montgomery, one brother Redford King of Montgomery, one sister Lorraine Bidwell of Rochester, NY, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Milton was pre-deceased by a daughter Lynn M. Paro in 1988 and a sister Norma Trapanese. The funeral will be Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Agawam.
