    3. Published: 10/28/04 Alma V. Laundrie Rouses Point - Alma V. Laundrie, 93, of 3 Edgewater Drive, Rouses Point, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, after a long illness. Born in Gardner, Mass., on April 14, 1911, she was the daughter of Charles and Exilda (Babineau) Girouard. Alma married Howard F. Laundrie of Rouses Point in August of 1931 and has been a local resident since that time. She worked at Herman's Ladies store in Plattsburgh for many years, and then managed the village bazaar in Rouses Point until her retirement. Her hobbies included ceramics, crocheting and knitting, for which she created many intricate and beautiful designs and patterns. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Racine of Rouses Point; four grandchildren, Sharron and Bryan Anctil of Rouses Point, Rochelle Kraynak of Morrisonville, Lisa and Henry Gauthier of Mooers and Brandon and Amanda Racine of Rouses Point; 9 great-grandchildren, Nathan and Vanessa Anctil of Albany, Barry Anctil of Albany, Nathalie and Joseph Faubert of Rouses Point, Amber Kraynak of Albany, Jesse Kraynak of Morrisonville, Nicholas and Aaron Babbie of Rouses Point and Adam and Ivory Racine of Rouses Point; and four great-great grandchildren, Austin, Gabriel, Sawyer and Landon. She was predeceased by her parents; four brothers, Raymond, Edward, Charles and Armand Girouard of Cambridge and Gardner, Mass.; two sisters, Mrs. Albert (Helen) Anctil of Rouses Point and Mrs. Charles (Cecelia) McKean of Gardner, Mass.; and her son-in-law, Alfred Racine Jr. of Rouses Point. Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday at the Clark Funeral Home in Rouses Point. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church in Rouses Point at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery in Rouses Point. She will be dearly missed by all who love her.
