RUDOLPH J. LaFOREST - Woonsocket 01:00 AM EST on Thursday, November 11, 2004 RUDOLPH J. LaFOREST, 85, of Wood Avenue, the owner of LaForest Signs, died last Thursday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Kathleen (Wildes) LaForest. Born in Woonsocket on April 25, 1919, he was a son of the late Moise and Celia (Damaris) LaForest. Mr. LaForest was the owner of LaForest Signs, and also established Fantasy Castle, which sold amusement supplies. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Rudolf LaForest Jr. of Millville, Mass., and Jamie LaForest of Woonsocket; two sisters, Blanche Plouffe of North Smithfield and Beatrice Patrick in Texas; and a grandson and a great-grandson. He was the brother of the late Moise LaForest Jr., Oleo and Eugene LaForest, and Cecile Trottier. The funeral was private.
