EVELYN LAVALLEE - Woonsocket 01:00 AM EST on Sunday, November 14, 2004 EVELYN LAVALLEE, 90, of Joffre Avenue, a retired licensed practical nurse, died Friday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of Roland Lavallee. They had been married for 73 years. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Albert and Regina (Antaya) Boivin, she was a lifelong resident of Woonsocket. Mrs. Lavallee was an LPN at the former Woonsocket Hospital, and at several area nursing homes for many years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Agatha Church. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Donald Lavallee of Woonsocket; three sisters, Lillian Skory of Uxbridge, Mass., Lorraine Plant of Whitinsville, Mass., and Alice Mason of Springfield, Mass.; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Ronald Lavallee, and sister of the late Lucille Fournier, Rita Supers, and Roland, Victor and William Boivin. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from Menard's Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in St. Agatha Church, Joffre Avenue. Burial will be in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, Mass.
