ROBERT R. GARANT - West Warwick 01:00 AM EST on Thursday, November 11, 2004 ROBERT R. GARANT, 50, of Regina Drive, Largo, Fla., formerly of West Warwick, a retired nursing director, died Friday in Largo Medical Center. Born on May 5, 1954, in West Warwick, a son of the late George and Noella (Pepin) Garant, he had lived West Warwick before moving to Florida in 1988. Mr. Garant had been director of nursing and a registered nurse at Palm Garden of Pinellas Nursing Home, Largo, for four years before recently retiring. He formerly worked at Eleanor Slater Hospital. He leaves two brothers, Roger Garand of Coventry and Donald Garant of Grifton, N.C.; three sisters, Theresa Parenteau of Largo, Lorraine Thibault of Salem, N.H., and Beatrice Brayton of Warwick; and 18 nieces and nephews. Burial will be private.
