Death Notices (11/23/04) DOHERTY, Margaret Jane Peacefully in hospital on Monday November 22nd with her family by her side, Margaret Jane (Halverson) Doherty, a longtime resident of Smiths Falls, in her 91st year. Devoted mother of Theresa (Mike) McNally, Marcella (the late Jim) Hawkins, both of Napanee, Mary Ellen (John) Forbes and John (Wendy) both of Smiths Falls, Neil (Susan) of Kingston, and Raymond (Mireille) of Ottawa. Cherished Nana to 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Rosalie Halverson, brothers Earl, George, Olious, Andrew and Joseph Halverson and sister Helen Donnelly. Survived by sisters-in- law Shirley Halverson of Coniston, Helen Halverson of Sudbury, Eliane Halverson of Toronto and brother-in-law Edgar Donnelly of North Bay. Loving aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was a lifetime member of St. Francis de Sales Church C.W.L. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home Smiths Falls from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Francis de Sales Church, Smiths Falls on Thursday November 25 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Francis de Sales Cemetery.
