RITA F. (TELLIER) DESILETS - Woonsocket 01:00 AM EST on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 RITA F. (TELLIER) DESILETS, 80, of Dulude Avenue, a former health-care volunteer, died Monday at home. She was the wife of Edgar A. Desilets; they had been married for 60 years. Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Adelard and Marie (Pontriand) Tellier, she had lived in the city for most of her life. Mrs. Desilets had been a volunteer coordinator at the Woonsocket Health Center for many years. She was a communicant of All Saints Church, a former communicant of St. Ann Church, and a past treasurer of the ISECT for Women Club. She enjoyed citizens-band radio. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Theresa Deslauriers and Pauline Geraldo, both of Woonsocket; three sons, Roger and Paul Desilets, both of Woonsocket, and Richard Desilets of North Smithfield; a brother, Leo Tellier, and a sister, Lucille DeLorme, both of Woonsocket; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from Menard's Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in All Saints Church, Rathbun Street. Burial will be in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, Mass.
