    3. Laura Courteau DOVER - Laura M. Courteau, 91, formerly of Hull Avenue, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, at Langdon Place of Dover. Born in Gonic on Dec. 23, 1912, the daughter of George and Alice (Dube) Crateau, she has lived in Dover for most of her lifetime. She formerly worked at the W.T. Grant Store and J.J. Newberry Store and later with her husband at the family business, the Dover Bowling Center. She was an avid bowler and traveled extensively. She was a member of Quota Club International of Dover, the American Association of Retired People, the Canado Americaine Society, a former Lioness and a former Campfire Girl leader. She was a member of St. Charles Church and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church and did volunteer work in the church and rectory. She also volunteered at the hospital with the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Auxiliary. The widow of Andrew R. Courteau, who died in 1989, she is survived by two daughters, Theresa Hayes and her husband, Richard, of Dover and Alice Courteau and her husband, Donn Grace, of San Diego, Calif.; two sons Andrew R. Courteau and his wife, Elaine Perry, of Eliot, Maine, and Thomas Courteau and his wife, Patricia, of Boston, Mass.; seven grandchildren, Wendy Clement, Kristen Gendron, Emily Hayes, Melissa Hayes, Amy Faulkner, Jennifer Crooker and Rebecca Crooker; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Eva Crateau of Dover; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, a brother Edward Crateau and a sister Wilda Kilcullen predeceased her. --- Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Church, 577 Central Ave. with Rev. Paul Gregoire, pastor as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery. Those who wish are invited to make memorials in her name to the charity of one's own choice.
