Janice A. Carey SHERBORN -- Janice A. (Couture) Carey, 54, formerly of Fitchburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, at her home in Sherborn. Born and raised in Fitchburg, Mrs. Carey was the daughter of Omer and Florence (La Voie) Couture of Fitchburg. She lived in Sherborn for the past 22 years. Mrs. Carey was educated in the parochial school system of Fitchburg, graduating from St. Bernard's High School. She was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, class of 1972, and received her master's in microbiology from the University of Georgia in 1976. Mrs. Carey later attended Suffolk Law School in Boston, receiving her law degree in 1983. She was the wife of Richard J. Carey. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Carey was survived by one daughter, Felicia H. Carey, of Sherborn. CAREY -- On Nov. 10, Janice A. (Couture) Carey, 54, of Sherborn. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass in St. Theresa's Church, 35 South Main St. (Route 27), Sherborn, on Monday, Nov. 15, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Sherborn. Visiting hours in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common, Natick, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
