Normand Trudell Normand Trudell 1925 - 2004 HOLYOKE - Normand "Norm" Trudell, 79, died Saturday November 6th at Loomis House. He was born in Chicopee, November 2, 1925, the son of the late John and Rose (Pro-vost) Trudell. He attended local schools and was a longtime Holyoke resident. He retired in 1987 from the Holyoke Housing Authority as clerk of the works, and was also a self- employed general contractor. He is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-nine years, Jeanne (Lucier) Trudell; one son, Paul and his wife, Judy of Holyoke, and two daughters; Christine Maheux and her husband, Richard of Southwick, and Denise Como and her husband, Raymond of Westfield. He also leaves one brother; Roland of Holyoke, five sisters, Florence Trudell and Jeanette Lavigne, both of Chicopee; Claire Ison, Eleanor Jarvis, and Margaret Labonte of Holyoke. He will be sadly missed by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers; Donald, Harvey, and Roger. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 10 at 10 a.m. at the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St. (Route 5), Holyoke. The funeral procession will form beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley.
