Bernier, a 25 year resident of Newington, husband of Armeline (Langevin) Bernier, died Tuesday (Dec. 16, 1997) at an area health care facility. He was born in St. Henedine, Quebec, Canada and resided in the greater Hartford area for over 75 years. Pepere lived his 93 years fully with a joie de vivre and a deep love of his family, his French-Canadian roots, good food and a good story. He will be missed but his spirit and his stories will live on.
