Monday, November 1, 2004 Robert G. Quirion 1933-2004 WINSLOW -- Robert G. Quirion, 71, died on Friday evening, Oct. 29, 2004, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Waterville. He was born in Winslow on July 29, 1933, the son of Albert and Leda (Talbot) Quirion. He was educated in Winslow schools and was a graduate of Winslow High School, class of 1951. He was formerly employed as a machine tender for several years for Scott Paper Co. in Winslow, and was a Marine Corps veteran. He was a member of the Waterville Lodge of Elks and the American Legion Bourque-Lanigan post. He is survived by his wife, Doris (Nadeau) Quirion of Winslow; four sons, Dean Quirion and wife Jane of Winslow, Brian Quirion of Winslow, Lloyd Quirion and wife Mary of Winslow, and Keith Quirion of Winslow; one brother, Roger Quirion of Winslow; two sisters, Pauline Carrier of Winslow and Dolores Cryan of North Vassalboro; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Ronald and Raymond Quirion; and two sisters, Gloria Quirion and Lorraine Morey. There will be no public visitation, and a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, at St. John the Baptist Church, 47 Monument St., Winslow. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Grove Street, Waterville. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to St. John the Baptist Church, Capitol Campaign Fund, 47 Monument St., Winslow, ME 04901.
