MARIE ELLIS - Woonsocket 01:00 AM EST on Monday, November 15, 2004 MARIE ELLIS, 87, of Village Road, a retired waitress, died yesterday at Ann Mark Nursing Home, North Revere, Mass. Born in Woonsocket on April 18, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Boudreau) Desjardins. Mrs. Ellis was a waitress at several area restaurants, retiring in 1973. She leaves three sons, Richard Ellis of Carroll, Texas, Robert Ellis of Saugus, Mass., and Raymond Ellis of Billerica, Mass.; and 12 grandchildren and 25 great-granchildren. She was the sister of the late Louis, David, Donar, Tony, Joseph and Emma Desjardins, and Theresa Goss. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from T. Lauzon Funeral Home, 85 Rathbun St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, Mass.
