    3. Monday, November 8, 2004 Marcia A. (LaFontaine) Smith KINGSTON, N.H. -- Marcia A. (LaFontaine) Smith, 68, died Thursday at the Hernando Care Center in Brooksville, Fla., following a long illness. Born in Haverhill, Mass., she graduated from Haverhill High School and MacIntosh Business College. A resident of Kingston for 15 years, she worked as a cashier at the former Bayberry's Variety Store, which was owned and operated by her husband. A resident of Merrimac, Mass., for several years, she was the former owner of American Video and Marcia's Market, both in Merrimac. She was an accomplished pianist and soloist and was a member of the Senior Choir at the First Congregational Church of Merrimac. She also lived in Dover and Lee and was a wintertime resident of Spring Hill, Fla., for the past several years. She leaves husband Philip Smith; daughter Tiffany Smith of Spring Hill; sons John A. MacKenzie and his wife Katja of Nashua, and Bryan Wilson and his wife Molly of Nashua; brother Fred LaFontaine of California; sister Shirley Green of Amesbury, Mass.; two grandchildren; nephews and a niece. She was the mother of the late Edwin C. Wilson, who died in 1975. Memorials may be made to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265. ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours are Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, Mass. There will be a funeral Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Holy Angels Cemetery, Plaistow, N.H.
