HELEN I. VILLENEUVE - Warwick 01:00 AM EST on Thursday, November 4, 2004 HELEN I. VILLENEUVE, 80, of Long Street, a retired waitress and activities director, died last Thursday at Kent Hospital after an illness. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late John and Ellen (Jollie) Finnigan, she had been a Warwick resident since 1948. Mrs. Villeneuve had been an activities director for West Bay Manor for eight years before retiring. Previously, she had been a waitress at the Diplomat restaurant, the Turks Head Building, and the Farm restaurant for many years. She was a communicant of St. Rose & Clement Parish. Mrs. Villeneuve was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing. She leaves a daughter, Denise H. Miller of Warwick; a son, Andre R. Villeneuve of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a sister, A. Patricia McNiff of Duluth, Ga.; and four grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Daniel R., Rene R. and Jon M. Villeneuve, and sister of the late John Finnigan and Leona Armstrong. The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Clement Church, Long Street. Burial will be private.
