Tuesday, November 2, 2004 A. Bernard Valliere SALEM, N.H. -- A. Bernard Valliere, 77, died Sunday at home. He was a machinist with Teledyne Communications in Hudson for many years before retiring. Born in Lawrence, Mass., Mr. Valliere graduated from Edward F. Searles High School in Methuen, Mass., and attended New England College in Henniker. He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War, receiving the World War II Victory Medal and the American Theater Medal. Mr. Valliere was a member of the Salem Veterans of Foreign Wars and St. Monica's Church in Methuen, the St. Monica's Church Building Fund Committee and the St. Monica's Fair Committee. He leaves wife of 50 years June A. (Quinlan) Valliere; daughters Deborah M. Fuller and Patrice M. and her husband Thomas Shaw of Manchester; sons Dennis P. and his wife Denise of Pelham, Gerald of Manchester, Daniel J. of Viera, Fla., Gary E. and his wife Candice of Aurora, Colo., and John L. of Salem; brothers Wilfred of Springfield, Mass., and Paul of Methuen; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Thomas P. Valliere. Memorials may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, 3550 N. Central Ave., Suite 300, Phoenix, AZ 85012. ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. A funeral Mass will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Monica's Church, Methuen. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
