ROGER O. DUPRE SR. - Central Falls 01:00 AM EST on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 ROGER O. DUPRE SR., 88, of 1485 High St., and formerly of Cumberland, a Conrad Jarvis Co. retiree, died yesterday in Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Shirley A. (Salisbury) Dupre. Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Oscar and Eva (Laurie) Dupre, he had lived in Cumberland for most of his life. He moved to Central Falls a few months ago. Mr. Dupre had worked at the Conrad Jarvis Co., in Pawtucket, for four years before retiring. A member of the Boy Scouts of America, Narragansett District, he was a former Cub Scout master for Pack 3, in Lonsdale, and had been affiliated for many years with Boy Scout Troop 3, in Lonsdale. Besides his wife, he leaves five sons, William R. and Kevin E. Dupre, both of North Providence, Roger O. Dupre Jr. and Robert C. Dupre, both of Cumberland, and Brian A. Dupre of Greensboro, N.C.; four brothers, Eugene Dupre in Florida, Edmund Dupre of Pawtucket, Richard Dupre in North Carolina and Gene "Johnny" Nault of Cumberland; five sisters, Elaine Goddard of South Attleboro, Eleanor Hoit of Pawtucket, Lorraine Mills in New Hampshire, Gail Lemilin of Warwick and Denise Colett of Pittsburgh, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the J.J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd., Cumberland.
