    3. Rinette Raymond Labbe Feb. 4, 1932 - Nov. 16, 2004 SCARBOROUGH & FORT KENT - Our Mom went home peacefully to be with her Lord surrounded by her loving family. She fought her battle with lung cancer with courage, dignity and grace. Her proudest accomplishments and greatest pleasure in life were her children and grandchildren. Her family was always first and God blessed her with her wish to see her children become adults along with her seven oldest grandchildren. Adding to her blessings are four young grandchildren that she adored. Rinette was a devoted elementary school teacher in the SAD 27 School District. The investment she made in her students is still evident today. She loved working in her gardens, spending time with her girlfriends, and was an avid reader. She moved to Scarborough in 2001, embracing her new life and took joy in helping to care for her triplet grandchildren and Baby Caleb. Family gatherings were plentiful. She made her children proud in her devotion to them, to her grandchildren, in her attitude and way she lived her life this past year, not letting her cancer take away from her happiness. She continued to teach us to embrace life, one day at a time. Rinette has joined her father, Albert Raymond; stepfather, Ernest Pinette; brother, Jack Raymond; sister, Yvette Picard; in-laws, Aimee and Veronique Labbe; and a granddaughter. Mom will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her mother, Mary Raymond Pinette; her children, Vernon and Joyce Labbe of Frenchville, Ruth Labbe Pelletier of Fort Kent, Vera Labbe Saucier and husband, Dean of Scarborough, Carl and Linda Labbe of Falmouth, and Luke and Ellen Labbe of Falmouth. 'Memere Legs,' 'Big Memere,' and 'Mimi,' will forever be treasured by Amy Saucier Delano and husband, Brandon, Heather Pelletier and fianc , Jefferson Oranellas, Danielle Pelletier Johnson and husband, Ed, Sarah Saucier, Hannah Labbe Voisine and husband, Jamie, Jeremy Labbe, Lindsey Pelletier, triplets Willem, Reece, and Madeleine Labbe and Caleb Labbe. Sadly she will miss the birth of grandchild Labbe, great-grandson, Gavin Voisine, and great-grandchild, Delano. She will also be missed by her sister, Mae Raymond Drake; brothers, Lucien and Norman Raymond, the father of her children, Emery 'Legs' Labbe; brother-in-law, Ellery 'Arms' Labbe, their spouses, her many nieces and nephews, and her friends. A celebration of her life will occur on Saturday, Nov. 27. Family and friends will gather at 9 a.m., at the Daigle Nadeau Funeral Home, followed by a celebration service at 11 a.m., at St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent. Family and Friends are also welcomed to gather at the KC Hall for lunch. In lieu of flowers, book donations in her honor can be made to the school library or public library of your choice.
