Born December 11,1936 in St. Francis, ME, daughter of the late, Joyime and Laddie (Thibodeau) Jandreau. Theresa enjoyed dancing, playing cards, puzzles and watching her grandchildren's ballgames. She was a lifetime member of the French Social Circle in East Hartford and a member of the Ladies of the French Social Circle. She had recently retired from Pepe and Hazard where she was long time employee. She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Pelletier. She is survived by her good friend, Normand Bouchard of Bristol; her five children, Martha Geoghegan and her husband Noel of East Hartford; Linda Pelletier and her partner, Laura Barrett of Ellington; Richard Pelletier of East Hartford; Ronald Pelletier of Rockville; Diane Legace and her husband, Martin of East Hartford; her grandchildren, Robert, Chimene, Jeremy, Gregory, Kelly, Dennis, Kevin, Luc and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters, Martha Jandreau of Southington; Mida Daigle and her husband Fern of Plainville; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 4, at 10 a.m., in St. Rose Church, 33 Church St., East Hartford. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford. Mrs. Gaulin was born in Lewiston, ME on March 31, 1931 and was a daughter of the late Albert and Yvonne (Martel) Demers. She resided in Bristol before moving to Terryville 40 years ago. Richard T. LePage 1941 - 2004 LEWISTON - Richard T. LePage, 63, of Lewiston died Saturday, Oct. 30, at Central Maine Medical Center following a short illness. He was born in Lewiston on May 3, 1941, the son of Samson and Marjorie (Goulette) LePage. He attended St. Patrick's grammar school and was a graduate of Lewiston High School. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served for over four years. Returning to this community, he was employed by the United Parcel Service before joining his father in the family business FHP Engine Service, and taking over its operation until his retirement in 2003. He is survived by his wife Dodie (Tankey) LePage, of Lewiston; his father, of Lewiston; one daughter, Michelle and her husband, Thomas Mikolajczyk, of Boothbay Harbor; one son, Thomas and his wife, Abigail LePage, of Jaffery, N.H.; one step-son, John Payne and his companion, DeeAnn, of Orr's Island; one step-daughter, Shannon and her husband, Michael Labbe; two grandchildren, Megen Poulin and Thomas Labbe; one sister-in-law, Joan Tankey, of Lewiston. Roland M. Caron 1941 - 2004 MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Mr. Roland M. Caron, 62, of Dumont Ave. in Lewiston, died unexpectedly early Saturday morning, Oct. 30, shortly after arrival at the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He was born in Lewiston on Dec. 6, 1941, the son of Maurice and Isabelle (Dubois) Caron. He was educated at Seminaire de Sherbrooke, St. Joseph's College in New Brunswick and Ottawa University before returning to this community. He worked for nearly 30 years at the V.A. Hospital in Togus and was currently employed at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was a longtime and very active member of Holy Cross Church where he served as an eucharistic minister and was also a member of Union Saint-Jean-Baptiste Council Ste. Croix No. 413, where he served as secretary for 41 years. He also served on the board of the Martin Scholarship Fund. Among his favorite enjoyments were traveling and spending time with family and friends. Roland was a very caring person and a true "caretaker" in every sense of the word. He spent many years giving of himself to care and "minister" to others, both family and friends, when they were in need. He leaves two sisters, Monita Lavoie, of Yarmouth, and Diane Morissette, of Lewiston; his step-father, Ernest Morissette, of Lewiston; and two nephews, Jason Lavoie and wife, Kristen, of Durham, and Christopher Lavoie, of Yarmouth. YVONNE M. BOUCHER 1906 - 2004 AUBURN - Yvonne M. (Provencher) Boucher, 98, passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, at Clover Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Auburn on Jan. 15, 1906, the youngest child of Amede and Helene (Dion) Provencher. She was educated in Auburn schools. She became a millworker in her teens. In 1927, she married Leon J. Boucher. They made their home in Brunswick, where their only child, William J. Boucher, was born. The couple operated a dry-cleaning and tailoring shop in Brunswick for 28 years. Mrs. Boucher, a seamstress, provided alterations for customers as well as tailor made draperies and bedspreads. She enjoyed sewing, both as a profession and as a hobby. A loving parent and grandparent, she took pleasure in visits from her family and friends. A devout catholic, she was a member of Holy Cross Parish in Lewiston. She is survived by six grandchildren, Sharon Haley, of North Conway, N.H., William Junior, of Auburn, Scott, of Turner, Suzanne Raymond, of Lewiston, Beth Boucher, of Boston, Mass., and Sarah Dunham, of Bethel; eight great-grandchildren, Michelle Dufault, of North Carolina, Krag, Kevin, Kyle, and Kirk Haley all of New Hampshire, Evan and Rebecca Raymond, both of Auburn, and Elizabeth Dunham, of Bethel; several nieces and nephews; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon in 1971; her son, William in 2000; four brothers, Arthur, Albert, Alfred and Charles Provencher; and a sister, Mabel (Provencher) Bussiere, with whom she lived with in her later years. Earl Francis LaBombard SHUSHAN, N.Y. -- Earl Francis LaBombard, 75, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, at the Glens Falls Hospital following a short illness. He was born Jan. 24, 1929 in Hartford, the son of the late Edward and Amelia (Aubin) LaBombard. Earl had been employed for several years at Hale Furniture in East Arlington, Vt., the town of Jackson and Finch Pruyn and Co. Inc. in Glens Falls. His hobbies included doing word search puzzles, tinkering in the backyard, sitting on the porch watching Shushan go by, and most of all he enjoyed driving his mustard-colored pickup truck to the recycling center once a week. Earl was especially devoted to his wife and family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Emma Priest and Jeannette Blodgett; one brother, Ernest LaBombard; and one half-brother, Alfred Aubin. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Vivian (Langlois) LaBombard of Shushan; three children, Joyce Dupuis and her husband John of Salem, Wayne LaBombard and his wife Donna of Cambridge and Nancy LaBombard of Arlington, Vt.; one sister, Doris Ayers of Salem; seven grandchildren, Kama, Kristy, Zachary and Brienne Dupuis and Marcus, Jodie and Skyler LaBombard; and several nieces and nephews. Aurele was the grandson of the late Aurele and Rose Bourque. He grew up in Concord. Lucky worked in circulation at the Concord Monitor. Aurele graduated from Concord High School in 1979. Lucky attended college at the University of Maine. Lucky was a U.S. Army veteran and was stationed in Somalia and Haiti. He remained in South Carolina with his wife and children after being discharged and worked for his father-in-law and at the time of his death, at P. Kaufmann in Fort Mill. Lucky was proud that he received the Army Commendation Medal 3rd award, Army Achievement Medal 2nd award, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal 2nd award and the Humanitarian Service Medal, to name a few. He was a life member of the VFW in Augusta, Maine. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Karen (Jerolmon) Bourque; two sons, Nicholas and Zachary, and his daughter by marriage, Margaret, of Edgemoor, S.C.; his brother, Michael Bourque of Contoocook; and two sisters, Doreen Dykeman and Charlene Odette, both of Pembroke. His youngest brother, Ludger Bourque Cutting, predeceased him. Lucky's brothers and sisters also include Sandra Anderson, Lisa Hamm, Lou Ann Poirier, Russell Cutting and Ralph Cutting and their spouses. He had several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services with military honors will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Allenstown. ~~~ A lifelong resident of the Pembroke-Allenstown area, Mr. Chaput was born on January 14, 1924, the son of Henry and Eva (Monty) Chaput. He was a 1942 graduate of Pembroke Academy. In 1943, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served during World War II in New Caledonia, the British Solomon Islands, and the Marianas, where he was wounded in action on Guam. He was a member of the Suncook Valley VFW Post No. 2860. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service in the Suncook Post Office. He spent 36 years there, retiring in 1979 as post master. An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Chaput loved to hunt and fish and, over the years, took the time and opportunity to teach many local youths what he knew about these sports. In addition, he was respected as a local expert on timber rattlesnakes. He also spent much of his time following and encouraging his children and grandchildren with their various sports activities. Members of his family include his wife of 58 years, Anita (Durant) Chaput of Allenstown; four children, Robert Chaput of Nashua, Michael Chaput of Pembroke, Dennis Chaput and Claire Watjen, both of Allenstown; seven grandchildren, Melissa Chaput, Christopher Chaput, Nicholas Smith, Carrie Smith, Katie Chaput, Brian Chaput, and Renee Chaput; and four great-grandchildren, Damon Smith, Logan Stygles, Parker Stygles and Haylie Smith.

He was born in Westport on July 19, 1910, the son of Lewis and Ellen (Couchey) Merrow. He was a 50-year member of the Westport Fire Department and also enjoyed woodworking. Pearl Lodenia Goodroe Ticonderoga - Pearl Lodenia Goodroe, 84, of Ticonderoga, passed away Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at the Moses-Ludington Nursing Home of Ticonderoga. She was born in Burlington, Vt., on Dec. 28, 1919, the daughter of the late Napolean and Mabel Fregon. Mrs. Goodroe was a lifelong Ticonderoga resident. She was very active at the nursing home and she enjoyed socializing with the other residents. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon J. Goodroe, in 1991. Survivors include one son, Randy G. Goodroe of Arkansas; two daughters, Barbara A. Robb of Mason, N.H., and Donna Blowers of Crown Point. She is also survived by many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and her friends, Harold McGuinness Jr. and Diane Howard. Born in AuSable Forks, March 5, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna (Cain) Charbonneau. Mrs. Spring has been a resident of Ticonderoga since 1951. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ticonderoga and the First United Methodist Church Women. She was involved in her husband's business, Spring Oil Co. of Ticonderoga as a receptionist until their retirement. Mrs. Spring was a Lady Shriner (LOASA) and she also served as Cub Scout Den Mother for many years. She was predeceased by four sisters, Margaret Kelley, Viola Gorman, Frances Oree and Martha Falcon. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Fayette O. Spring, whom she married on Nov. 25, 1939; three daughters, Barbara S. Cole and her husband LeRoy of Staatsburg, N.Y., Linda S. Brown and her husband Michael of Ticonderoga, Faylene S. Whalen and her husband Terrence of Pittsfield, Mass.; and one son, Thomas F. Spring of Guilderland, N.Y. She is the loving grandmother of five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Francis D. Rondo Chateaugay - Francis D. Rondo, 77, of Chateaugay, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, at the Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone. He was born in Ellenburg on Sept. 21, 1927, the son of David and Irene (Miller) Rondo. He owned and operated a dairy farm for over 30 years and also worked in construction for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Shirley Honsinger; three sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Helen Rondo of Copake, N.Y., Randy and Kim Rondo of Burke and Rickey and Kristen Rondo of Sheldon, Vt.; a daughter, Debra Pritchard of Clifton Park; a brother-in-law, Francis Fisher of Malone; four grandchildren, Allison, Chelsea, Dillon and Brianne; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. His parents and a sister, Marie Fisher, died before him. There will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Born in Gardner, Mass., on April 14, 1911, she was the daughter of Charles and Exilda (Babineau) Girouard. Alma married Howard F. Laundrie of Rouses Point in August of 1931 and has been a local resident since that time. She worked at Herman's Ladies store in Plattsburgh for many years, and then managed the village bazaar in Rouses Point until her retirement. Her hobbies included ceramics, crocheting and knitting, for which she created many intricate and beautiful designs and patterns. Mr. LaPine was a Korean War veteran having served in the U.S. Army, he was retired from NYCO Mining Co., a member of the Essex Fire Co., the American Legion, the National Veterans of Foreign War and Keeseville BPOE 2072. He is survived by three sons and their families; Jerry Lapine of Willsboro, Mark and Ginger LaPine of Willsboro and Kevin and Jill LaPine of Willsboro; four grandchildren LeighAn and Aaron Valachovic, Tyler LaPine and Bryce and Jeremy LaPine; one great-grand daughter Lydia Valachovic, all of Willsboro; a sister, Marion Lee; and a brother and sister-in-law, Harry (Puss) and Claire LaPine. Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Essex Community Methodist Church at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at the Black Brook Cemetery, Westport, N.Y. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in his memory be made to the Essex Rescue Squad or Fire Company. Huestis Funeral Home in Willsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Virginia Tremblay Spaulding Crown Point - Virginia Tremblay Spaulding, died peacefully in her Crown Point, N.Y., home on Monday, Oct. 25, 2004. She was born on Sept. 21, 1920, in Highgate, Vt., the daughter of Joseph and Olive Tremblay (deceased) and sister of Raymond Tremblay of Burlington, Vt., Genevieve Lynch of Florida, Jacqueline Weiss of Florida and Raoul Tremblay (deceased) of Springfield, Vt. She was the loving wife of Earl C. Spaulding Jr. for nearly 58 years and mother of Joseph E. Spaulding (deceased) of Shelburne, Vt., Mary Spaulding Kirkwood of Nashua, N.H., and Christopher P. Spaulding of Crown Point, N.Y. Mrs. Spaulding enjoyed tremendously her legacy of 10 grandchildren, Jeremy, Jeffrey and Jennifer, children of Joseph and Catherine (Hogan) Spaulding; Peter, Adam, Megin and Kelly, children of Mary and Robert Kirkwood; and Shelby, Jacob and Clayten, children of Christopher and Catherine (Carlson) Spaulding. Family and faith were her core, but teaching was her passion. After graduating from the University of Vermont with a degree in education, Mrs. Spaulding took a position as sole teacher in a one room school house in Highgate, Vt. During World War II she left teaching briefly to work as an inspector at Vermont Gear in Springfield, Vt. After marrying and moving to New York, Mrs Spaulding taught first in the Street Road School in Ticonderoga, N.Y., before going to Moriah School. In total she taught 38 years, mostly challenging third graders. She will be fondly remembered for her strength of faith, love of family, professional dedication and generosity. Calling hours will be held Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry, A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Crown Point. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crown Point. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests donations to St. Anne's Shrine, PO Box 280, Isle La Motto, VT 05463 in Virginia Spaulding's name.
Sunday, October 31, 2004 Albert Normand ANDOVER -- Albert Normand, 91, died Thursday at Wingate at Andover. Born Lawrence, Mr. Normand attended Lawrence schools and worked for the Meyer Box Company in Lawrence. The widower of Rose (Campione) Normand, he leaves his niece and caregiver Theresa M. Hollins and her husband Vincent of Methuen, as well as several nieces and nephews. ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours are tomorrow from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
