    3. Alcide L. Bruneau Jr. BRUNEAU, Alcide L., Jr. Alcide L. Bruneau, Jr., 71, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Carmen (LaPierre) Bruneau, died suddenly Tuesday, (November 2 , 2004). Born Feb. 13, 1933 in Bellingham, MA son of the late Alcide L., Sr. and Anna (Laferriere) Bruneau he had lived in Glastonbury since 1967. Al retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in 1991 after 35 years as supervisor of Data Center Operations. Al was a communicant of St. Paul Church and was a Eucharistic Minister for 14 years. He was a member and past president of the St. Paul Men's Club and was treasurer and member of the executive board for the past 20 years. When his sons were young he was active with the Boy Scouts of America Troop #540. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War from 1952 - 1956. Besides his wife he is survived by his children and their spouses Michele and Jonathan Foote of Telluride, CO, Neil and Heather Bruneau of Glastonbury, Mark and Julianne Bruneau of South Bend, IN; two brothers, and their wives, William and Evelyn Bruneau of Jupiter, FL, Roland and Linda Bruneau of Englewood, FL, and his three grandsons, Hayden Foote, Chayne and Eric Bruneau. Funeral service will be Monday, Nov. 8, 9:15 a.m. from the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Paul Church, Glastonbury. Burial with full military honors will follow in Veterans Cemetery, East Glastonbury.     3. Allen E. Gaudet GAUDET, Allen E. Allen E. Gaudet, 78, of Bloomfield, beloved husband of the late Edith Mae (Allen) Gaudet, died Thursday, (November 4, 2004) at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. Born in Hartford, son of the late Richard and Hilda (Booth) Gaudet, he lived in Windsor before moving to Bloomfield 53 years ago. Allen served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He owned and operated American Prefab, in Bloomfield for the past 32 years, prior to that he was a union carpenter and a part time butcher. Allen was an avid outdoorsmen, he loved fishing and canoeing and he had a green thumb when it came to gardening. He always enjoyed his trips to Florida and he loved people. He is survived by his five sons, David Gaudet of East Hartford, Curtis Gaudet and his wife, Karen of Granby, Gary Gaudet and his wife Sheri of Bloomfield, Allen Gaudet, Jr. and his wife, Ann Marie of Broad Brook, Kenneth Gaudet and his wife, Cindy of Meriden; two daughters, Barbara Beninato and her husband Concetto Beninato, Jr. of Bozrah, Lenore Bolasevich of Tariffville; two brothers, Normand Gaudet of Newington, Harold Gaudet of Stafford Springs; a sister, Dorothy Christensen of West Hartford; ten grandchildren, Melissa Gaudet, Curtis Gaudet, Jr., Jessica Beninato, Jason Gaudet, Angela Gaudet, Allen Michael Gaudet, Ryan Gaudet, Lillianne Gaudet, Matthew Gaudet, Mollie Gaudet; a great grandson, Christian Barry Gaudet; a special friend, Elise Giddish of Windsor; and many nieces and nephews. Allen was predeceased by two grandchildren, Barbara Beninato and Wahied Jerjies; a son-in-law David Bolasevich. Funeral services will be Monday, November 8, at 2 p.m. at Christ Church Cathedral, 45 Church St., Hartford. Burial with military honors will be in Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Windsor. She was formerly of 3 Stoughton Road and had been a resident of Southington for 50 years. Born April 5, 1905, in St. Ephrem, Quebec, daughter of the late Alphonse and Nelida (Bolduc) Hamel. She resided in Southington for many years before moving to Shelton in 2001. Prior to her retirement she was employed at Allied Control. She had been a parishioner of St. Thomas Church and had made her first communion at the church. She had been a member of the Calendar House in Southington. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters, Bertha Desjardins, Edith Masselli, Cecile Hamel, Alice Fortier, five brothers, Majorique, Ovida, Rosario, Armand, and Fernand Hamel.

She was also raised in Hooksett but spent most of her life in Allenstown. Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Campbell also worked at different times for Suncook Woven Label and Sprague Electric. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Merrill Follansbee American Legion Post of Hooksett. She was the widow of Harry Campbell, who died in November of 1982. She is survived by her children and their spouses, John and Diane Campbell of Concord, Susan and Darrell Gwinn of Bedford, Gregg and Roxanne Campbell of Pembroke and Donna and Roger Biron of Bow; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Norman "Joe" Nadeau of Pembroke.

    3. Saturday, November 6, 2004 Arthur D. Patnaude BOXFORD -- Arthur D. Patnaude, 78, died Thursday at home following a battle with throat cancer. He worked in law enforcement and security for the Los Angeles Sheriffs Department and the California State Corrections Department and later was a security guard at the former Western Electric Co. in North Andover before retiring. Born and educated in Methuen, Mr. Patnaude served in the Marine Corps during World War II in the Pacific Theatre and was a member of Groveland Congregational Church. He leaves wife of 31 years Carol (Widdop) Patnaude; sons Mark and his wife Karen of East Kingston, N.H., and Bruce Patnaude of Melbourne, Fla.; daughter June Blanchette of Keene, N.H.; stepsons Thomas and his wife Pauline Everson of Methuen and Dean Everson of Boxford; brother Eugene Patnaude of Deltona, Fla.; sisters Emma Chahanovich and Roberta Karamourtopoulas, both of Salem, N.H., and Shirleyann Byrne of Arizona; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Born in Amesbury, Mrs. Gallagher graduated from Amesbury High School and was an inspector at Western Electric before retiring. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church. The widow of Anthony Gallagher, she leaves sisters Margaret Whiting of Merrimac and Dorothy Tessimond of Amesbury; brothers Arthur J. Tessimond of Amesbury and Earl R. Tessimond of California; and several nieces and nephews.     3. 11/06/2004ESTHER DELIA CHOINIERE HIGHGATE CENTER, Vermont - Esther Delia Choiniere, 85, a lifelong resident of this community died early Friday morning, November 5, 2004, in the Northwestern Medical Center in Saint Albans City. Born in Saint Albans, May 25, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Louise (Raymond) Boudro. She graduated from Highgate High School and on, April 19, 1939, married Maurice Aime Choiniere who predeceased her on, November 27, 1993. She was a lifelong parishioner of Saint Louis Roman Catholic Parish and a member of the Ladies of Saint Anne. Esther leaves a daughter, Theresa Froehlich of Colchester; two sons, Richard (Choiniere) Sweeney and his wife Jeannette of Swanton and Gerald Choiniere and his wife Deborah of Highgate Center; eight grandchildren, four step grand- children, and eight great grandchildren. She also leaves a sister-in-law, Lois Sweeney of Winchester, Ontario Canada and a very devoted friend Nancy Flint and family of Highgate Center and several nieces and nephews including a very special niece, Florence Dexter and her husband Ralph of Saint Albans. She was predeceased by two brothers, Henry Boudro in 1989, John Boudro in 2001 and a son-inlaw, Al Froehlich in 2000. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, November 9, 2004, at 11 a.m. from Saint Louis Roman Catholic Church, Lamkin Street, Highgate Center. Esther's nephew, Father Raymond A. Giroux will be the celebrant and homilist. Interment will follow in the Choiniere family lot in Saint Louis Cemetery. She was born in Burlington on April 5, 1934, the daughter of Joseph Lawrence and Freida (Baldwin) Fuller. She married Earl V. Brunelle on June 5, 1954; he predeceased her on May 29, 1998. Lorraine is survived by four children, Cindy Brunelle of Milton, Earl V. Brunelle II and his wife, Linda of Franklin County, Charles Brunelle and his friend, Debbie Ross of Franklin, and Laurie A. B. Nielsen and her husband, Mark of Johnson; six grandchildren, Dustin Brunelle, Desiree and Vanessa Brunelle, Charles Brunelle II, and Rebecca and Jaimie Nielsen; stepgrandchildren, Carrie Donna, William Lefebvre Jr. and his wife, Jamie, and Melinda and Joseph Lefebvre; several stepgreatgrandchildren; one brother, Lawrence P. Mr. Emery was born in Hinsdale, Ill., on Feb. 25, 1928, to the late Samuel and Harriet Emery. Mr. Emery served his country honorably for 25 years in the United States Navy Submarine Service, retiring from the John C. Calhoun in 1969. Mr. Emery was preceded in death by a son, Richard W. Emery Jr.; a granddaughter, Caitlyn G. Cleary; and five sisters. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Dolores (Beaulieu) Emery and their children Christopher Emery and wife Danielle of Biloxi, Miss., and Kelly Denton Emery; and a grandson, Gavin Denton. From his first marriage, Mr. Emery leaves his children, Susan A. Heist of Westerly, Patricia G. Cleary of Ledyard, Tracey A. Corbitt of Jacksonville, Ala., Michael J. Emery of West Haven, Anita M. Touchette, 81, of 87 Carriage Court, formerly of 123 Albee St., Fitchburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, in HealthAlliance Hospital/Leominster. He was born on July 24, 1923, in Fitchburg, the son of Adelard and Josephine (Boute) Touchette, and had lived most of his life in Fitchburg before moving to Leominster a year ago. Mr. Touchette retired from the Fitchburg post office in 1978 after working there for 35 years. He was a 1941 graduate of St. Bernard's High School and had attended Northeastern University before enlisting in the Army, where he served in Europe during World War II as a member of the O.S.S. He was a member of the Lunenburg D.A.V. Mr. Touchette leaves his wife of 56 years, Patricia (Healy) Touchette; one son, Curt Touchette of Portsmouth N.H.; three daughters, Suzanne Maguire of Nashua N.H., Gail Sciabarrasi of Dover N.H., and Dyanne Prior of Fitchburg; one sister, Elaine Klauke of Dearborn, Mich.; and two grandchildren. He was born on July 8, 1942, in Leominster, the son of Donat A. Rajotte and Irene C. (Hebert) Rajotte. Mr. Rajotte worked for the Department of Public Works in the Water and Sewage Department for the city of Leominster. He retired in September. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Korean War. Mr. Rajotte was a member of St. Cecilia's Church. Besides his mother, Mr. Rajotte is survived by his fiancee, Marcia Cameron of Leominster; two sons, Mark Rajotte and his wife, Amy, of Shirley and Michael Antonucci of Worcester; one brother, Charles Rajotte and his wife, Michelle, of Leominster; four sisters, Doris Ciccone and her husband, Ronald, of Leominster, Jane Comee and her husband, Dennis, of Gardner, Therese Morizzo of Leominster, and Catherine DiRusso and her husband, John, of Leominster; two grandchildren; nine nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles. His father, Donat A. Rajotte, predeceased him in 1982. RAJOTTE -- On Nov. 3, Leo A. Rajotte, 62, of Leominster.     3. Francis J. Marien Francis J. Marien, 83 Longtime Westminster resident; was a papermaker Sentinel & Enterprise WESTMINSTER -- Francis J. Marien, 83, of 4 Grassy Pond Road, died Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 3, in Heywood Memorial Hospital, Gardner, after an illness. He was born in Fitchburg, the son of James Damien and Alphonsine V. (Masse) Marien, and had lived in Westminster for the past 45 years. Mr. Marien was a machine operator at the former James River Paper Co. in Fitchburg for 33 years and retired in 1983. While working at the paper mill he was a longtime union steward. He had been an avid bowler and was in many industrial leagues and had won several tournaments over the past years. He also enjoyed playing golf and most enjoyed playing cards especially cribbage. He was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Church in Westminster. Mr. Marien leaves his wife of 62 years, Alice J. (Kazokas) Marien, and his daughter, Pamela A. Schultz of Brewster; his grandchildren, Michael P. Schultz of Eddington, Maine and Jeffrey F. Schultz of Cherry Valley, Lorrell A. Clements of Veazie, Maine; his great-grandchildren, Chelsea R. Schultz, Thomas M. Schultz and Peter F. Schultz of Eddington, and Rebecca A. Clements and Nathan Clements of Veazie, Maine. He was predeceased by four brothers, Charles, George, Walter, and Robert Marien and six sisters, Beatrice Harris, Nancy Mattson, Rita Connors, Millie Girard, Laurie Hanks and Evelyn Steinbring. He was born on Aug. 25, 1912, in Fitchburg, the son of Henry and Eliza (Marley) Leger, and lived in Leominster for 50 years. Mr. Leger was a patent engineer for Heald Machine Co. in Worcester for many years, retiring several years ago. He was a life member of the St. Joseph Club in Fitchburg. Mr. Leger leaves two sons, Alfred R. "Bob" Leger and Ronald H. "Ron" Leger, both of Leominster; two brothers, Hennessey Leger and Roland Leger, both of Fitchburg; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His wife of 59 years, Rita (Lamoureux) Leger, died on Jan. 22, 2001. Mr. Leger was predeceased by two brothers, Edmond Leger and Robert Leger, and a sister, Rita Collette. Brunelle, 91, of School Street died Nov. 4, 2004, at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation & Nursing Care at Gray Birch Drive, after a brief illness. She was born in Canada on May 9, 1913, the daughter of Paul Dupuis and Leocadie (Breton) Dupuis. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Brunelle was employed by Hallowell Shoe Company for 20 years. She previously was employed by Commonwealth Shoe Co. and Edwards Manufacturing Co. Mrs. Brunelle was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church and formerly a longtime member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Kenneth Frost; her second husband, Dominique Brunelle; a daughter, Barbara Guerrette, who died on Oct. 17, 1999; a stepson Alfred Brunelle; and 11 brothers and sisters. Constance "Connie" Wood was born Nov. 5, 1935, in Oakland, Maine, the daughter of Richard and Dorthory Bubier of Oakland. Connie attended Oakland schools and graduated from Willliams High School. Connie was predeceased by her parents; husband Harold Wood Jr.; and a son Daniel Richard Wood; a sister Delores Levesque; and a brother Clarance Bubier. Surviors include a sister, Mrs. Glennis Vellieux and husband Lucien of Waterville, Maine; daughters Mrs. Susan Strout and husband Tim of Clinton, Maine, Mrs. Cindy Davis and husband Millard, also of Clinton, Angel Carrington and Candance Wood of Twin Falls, Idaho; sons Mr. Darrell Wood of Fairfield, Maine, and David Wood of Augusta, Maine: and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.     3. Saturday, November 6, 2004 Eleanor C. Nadeau 1917-2004 WATERVILLE -- Eleanor C. Nadeau, 87, of Winslow died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004, at Lakewood Manor Nursing Home. Eleanor was born Sept. 23, 1917, in Fairfield. The daughter of Eugene and Lillian (Sylvester) Foster Nadeau. In her high school days she was very athletic in basketball. Eleanor was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by her beloved cat, Babe. Eleanor was a founding member of the Sunshine Club of Winslow. She and her good friend June Plisga formed the club, starting with 13 members and growing to 47. Eleanor served as their treasurer. The Sunshine Club is for people who are visually impaired. She also spent 17 of her winters in St. Petersburg, Fla., with her husband, where she made many friends. She enjoyed talking to her local and KOA friends by telephone. Eleanor often told her grandchildren that they were her favorite pets. Eleanor was also a very prayerful lady, praying to St. Anthony and the Rosary. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Norman N. Nadeau, who died in 1994; one great-granddaughter Haley Elizabeth Berard; and two sisters, Thelma Lane and Kathleen Drovin Stevens. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Ann Bolduc and her husband, Marvin R. Bolduc, of Winslow, and Betty J. Soule and her husband, Ronald D. Soule, also of Winslow; eight grandchildren, Jody LaChance of New Hampshire, Terry and Charles Mitchell of Winslow, Tim Bolduc of Winslow, Wendy and John Santos of New Hampshire, Capt. Jeffery and Rebecca Bolduc of North Carolina, Stephen and Sheryl Soule of North Carolina, Shelly and James Frost of New Hampshire and Sherry and Ronnie Berard of Winslow. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, Tiffany and Heather LaChance, Joshua, Kaitlyn and Lindsay Mitchell, Dylan Clay Bolduc, Matthew and Gregory Bolduc, Stephanie, Danielle, Emily, Kendall and Rhett Soule, Trevor and Shawnna Leigh Frost, Adam and Alex Berard. Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5, at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm St., Waterville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Winslow with the Rev. Apolinary Kavishe officiating. Burial will be at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta.     3. Saturday, November 6, 2004 Bernard S. Blanchet, 89 WESTBROOK - Bernard S. Blanchet, 89, of 312 Brown St., died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at the Springbrook Health Care. He was born in St. Jean Port Jolie P.Q. Canada, a son of Servule and Justine Ouellette Blanchet. He came to Westbrook in 1923. He had been employed by the Dana Warp Mill for many years and later the S.D. Warren Co. for 20 years, before retiring. Ben was very active in city politics. He served on the Westbrook City Council for many years. He served on the Board of Metro for 10 years. He was very active in local Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, receiving the St. George award for his many years of dedication to the Boy Scouts. He was a 4th degree and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, a communicant of St. Hyacinth Church and a longtime member of it's Holy Name Society. His wife Mary Peachwall Blanchet died in 2001 and a son Michael died in 1974. He is survived by a daughter, Roxanne Cousins of Westbrook; grandchildren, Sean Cousins and Nicky Lee Cross; and great-grandchildren, Vincent Cousins and Sabrina Cross. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Hyacinth Church. Interment will be in St. Hyacinth Cemetery.

Born in Woonsocket, R.I., she was a longtime Westport resident before moving to Culpeper, Va., While in Connecticut, she was a member of the St.Thomas Ladies Guild and a Fairfield Prep Ladies Guild. In Virginia she was in charge of "altar" care at St. John's Catholic Church in Orange, and was a member the Garden Club of Greene County and Culpeper Regional Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons, Joseph A. Ference and Charles R. Ference; two daughters, Marguerite M. Spera and Patricia J. Burns; three brothers, Gerald Duquette of Westport, Carl Duquette of Florida, and Louis Duquette of Old Saybrook; three sisters, Rita Greene of Saugatuck, Edna Decker of Westport, and Marion Hall of Rhode Island; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, at 9:15 a.m. from the Fairfield Funeral Home of Edmund W. Dougiello, 36 South Pine Creek Road, at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Fairfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, in Fairfield. Turcotte, 84, a World War II veteran and a resident of Chelmsford for more than 40 years who had managed a cleaners in Chelmsford, died yesterday, Nov. 5, at D'Youville Senior Care in Lowell. He was the husband of Ethel (Bailey) Turcotte. He was born in Pawtucket, R.I., on Dec. 14, 1919, a son of the late Archibald and Theresa (McGoff) Turcotte. Mr. Turcotte served in the Army during World War II. Prior to his retirement, he was the manager of Care Cleaners of Chelmsford. He was a member of the Woodworker's Club and a former member of the Merrimack Valley Chorale. Mr. Turcotte was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Chelmsford. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Ralph Turcotte of Beverly; a daughter, Noor Ahmed and her husband Afhan of Milton, N.H.; a stepdaughter, Diane Shamas and her husband Kenneth of Chelmsford; a stepson, Barry McKinnon of Brookline; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Sister Helen Turcotte of Holyoke; a brother, Paul Turcotte of Atlanta; and many nieces and nephews.
