    3. Eugene S. Marquis II MARQUIS, Eugene S., II Eugene S. Marquis II, 49, of Bristol, died suddenly Friday (November 5, 2004) and has been called home to his savior. A devoted husband and father he was the husband of Debra Anne (Boissonault) Marquis. Along with his partners, James Croteau and Manny Misenti he owned and operated the Commercial Electrical Contractors Inc. in Middletown. Gene was an active and devoted member of the Hillside Community Church in Bristol. He was involved with the Church Missions having traveled to Mexico twice with the church. He was involved with the Men's Ministry and a Home Group Leader of the Church. He was also a well known avid fisherman. In addition to his wife Debra, Gene leaves his daughters Danielle Marquis and Melissa Marquis of Bristol; his parents Eugene and Lucille (Clavette) Marquis of Old Orchard Beach, ME; two sisters Maryann and her husband Doug Griffin and their children Jennifer and Scott of Brentwood, TN, Diane and her husband Peter Wilcox and their children Adam and Jake of Avon; his brother Richard Marquis of Seymour; and several aunts, uncle and cousins. A Memorial service will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq., New Britain. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-4 p.m. at the funeral home.     3. Mark Francis DuMouchel DuMOUCHEL, Mark Francis Mark Francis DuMouchel died peacefully, on Friday, (November 5, 2004) at his home in Hartford. Mark was born in Hartford, April 2, 1956, the beloved son of Louise (Livcaket) DuMouchel of Newington and Robert DuMouchel who died in 1994, and lived in South Windsor before moving to Newington in 1959. He graduated from Newington High School in 1975. Moving to New Jersey shortly after graduation, he managed several restaurants and was a landscape designer. Mark eventually moved back to the Newington area in 1999 to be closer to his family who he always cherished. He is survived by his beloved family, brothers and sisters, Kenneth DuMouchel of Newington, Robert DuMouchel and his wife Diane of Portland, Allen DuMouchel and his wife Beate, Elaine Strickland and her husband Phil, and Donna Raineault and her husband Paul, all of Newington; several nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles, great aunts and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his brother Ronald in 1996, his maternal grandparents, Bernadette Livcaket in 1990 and Stephen Livcaket in 1996, his nephew Joseph DuMouchel in 2002, and his niece Manasseh DuMouchel in June 2004. Mark was a very compassionate, outgoing person, always willing to help others. He had a fantastic memory and always loved to reminisce with others. He will be missed by his family, as well as so many friends. His funeral service will be held on Monday, at 10:45 a.m. from the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Newington.     3. Rene Giguere LEWISTON - Rene Giguere, 85, died from natural causes on Oct. 5, at d'Youville Pavilion, Lewiston. His son, John, was by his side. Rene was born in Lewiston, the son of Lucien and Muguette Giguere. Mr. Giguere had resided at d'Youville over the past seven years. Prior to returning to Maine, Rene had lived on a canal on Little Kerr Lake in Salt Springs, Fla. from 1985-1993. He had been a member of Local 716, Plumbers and Pipefitters Union since 1953. Rene was a sportsman who enjoyed baseball and the Boston Red Sox, hockey, and he was an avid fisherman. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved children and youth alike. Along with being a coach, Rene was instrumental in helping to build the first Little League baseball fields at the L-A airport. Rene's greatest love and passion was his camp on the Spring Road at Lake Auburn where he would spend time on the screen porch overlooking the lake, reminiscing about all the fish he had caught over the years. Rene's spouse, Germaine Bolduc, died in 1984. He leaves a daughter, Patt Courtemanche and spouse, Anthony, of St. Louis, Mo., and their children Amanda, Molly, Hannah, and Max; a son, John and spouse, Joyce Giguere, of Wilton, and their children, John Caton, of Phillips, and significant other, Donn Coffren and their son, Chad; Dane Caton, of Dixfield, and significant other, Jennifer Clough, and their daughter, Destiny; Eugene Caton, of Phillips, and spouse, Mary and son, Vincent; several nieces and nephews, including Roland Metivier, of Seminole, Fla., and spouse, Christina, and their children, RJ and Mikhaila.

    3. Raymond O. VerRill 1929 - 2004 OXFORD - Raymond O. Verrill, 74, of Oxford, died Saturday morning at his home. He was born in West Poland, May 29, 1929, the son of Elisha A. and Gladys Strout Verrill. He attended schools in Poland and Mechanic Falls. He worked at many local shoe shops and Paris Manufacturing Co. For 25 years he worked at Quinco Fabrics in Lewiston. He faithfully served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 150 in Mechanic Falls and the DAV. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. On March 2, 1968, he married Elizabeth Berry who predeceased him on Aug. 8, 2001. Survivors include two daughters, Anita Tufts and her husband, Jim, of Oxford, and Brenda Crowley and her husband, Ron, of Louisville, Ky.; seven grandchildren, Donald Black and his wife, Kathi, of Windham, Edwin Black and Michael Tufts, both of Oxford, Karen McBride and her husband, Danny, of Lewiston, Ron Crowley Jr. and his wife, Sandy, of Louisville, Ky., Tammy Borden and her husband, Robert, of Louisville, Ky., and Christopher Crowley and his wife, Marie, of Louisville, Ky.; 17 great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly; and many nieces and nephews who were a great part of his life.     3. Obituaries Edward W. Martin November 8, 2004 BRATTLEBORO - Edward W. "Bub" Martin, 72, died Nov. 4, 2004, at Eden Park Nursing Home. He was born in Brattleboro July 12, 1932, the son of Walter and Gladys (Benoit) Martin. He was raised and educated in Brattleboro, attending St. Michael's School. Mr. Martin worked for the town of Brattleboro for 29 years for the Department of Public Works, retiring in 1995. Previously, he had worked for the former Crosby Milling Co. in Brattleboro. For a brief time, with his wife, he resided in Fitchburg, Mass., and worked at Burbank Hospital before moving back to Brattleboro. He was a former communicant of St. Michael's Catholic Church, and in recent years attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Brattleboro. Mr. Martin enjoyed the outdoors, collecting old bottles and animals. On Feb. 7, 1953, he married Aline D. Bald at St. Michael's Church. Beside his wife of 51 years, he is survived by two sons, Richard Martin of Brattleboro and Dean Martin of Milton; two daughters, Diane Corey of Salisbury and Cindy Foster of Brattleboro; two sisters, Virginia Carey of Walpole, N.H., and Dorothy Martin of Hinsdale, N.H.; five grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother in January 2002. The memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Nov. 21 at Kingdom Hall on Edwards Heights in Brattleboro. Burial will be private in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Hinsdale. There are no calling hours. He retired after 26 years with the company. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and gardening. He also tied saltwater flies. He was a member of several organizations, Trout Unlimited, Coastal Conservation Association and the Sunset Mountain Fish and Game Club. Mr. Page was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Page graduated from Gorham High School in Gorham, Maine. Following his graduation, he attended and graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor of science degree in psychology. In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Tina Page of Valencia, Calif., and Brad and Karla Page of Merrimack; a stepson, John Woods, and his wife, Sherry, of Loudon; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; a sister, Sandie Page of Brattleboro, Vt.; two aunts, an uncle, and numerous cousins; and many special friends.

He was born in Three Rivers, Quebec, Canada, on June 18, 1920, the son of Arthur and Emaline (Monette) Ledoux. John was raised in Rouses Point by Roy and Lina Frenya. He had worked for the D&H Railroad and owned and operated the Ellenburg Inn. John enjoyed baseball, pinochle, fishing, telling a good joke, but most importantly, his family. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Emaline Ledoux; and a son, Gregory. John is survived by his wife Esther C. (Hungerford) Ledoux of Altona. They were married July 15, 1945, in Oneonta, N.Y.; his children, Roy Ledoux and his wife Carol of Lake View Terrace, Calif., Diane McIntyre and her husband John of East Islip, Long Island, and Jeanne Forkey and her husband Christopher of Altona; his grandchildren, Tina, Brandy, Roy, Connie, Denise, Danielle, Jennifer Duprey and her husband Donnie, Katie and Lance; his great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Roy, Shawna, Lilly, Daniel and Haleigh; his sisters, Lina Fosher of Rouses Point and Helen Beeman of Rouses Point; and several nieces and nephews.     3. Obituaries Published: 11/07/04 Grace Strack Champlain - Grace Strack, 77, of 79 Dubois Rd., Champlain, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at the CVPH Hospital in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on Sept. 3, 1927, the daughter of Joseph and Alexina Coulombe. Grace was a lifelong resident of Champlain and was active in many community organizations, including a troop leader for the Girl Scouts, the Champlain Fire Department Auxiliary and Clinton County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, serving many years on the Board of Directors. She was past president of the Champlain American Legion Auxiliary Post 767 and past president of the Clinton County American Legion Auxiliary. Grace was a devoted member of St. Mary's Catholic Church; enjoyed many years as a volunteer librarian at St. Mary's Academy, taught religion classes and was active in organizing the annual St. Mary's Bazaar, chairing the first bazaar committee. She was an avid bingo player, bowler and well known as a cashier at the local Grand Union as well as a world traveler, participating in many locally organized tours. Her greatest joy came from being a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed playing cards with her family and taking care of their every need. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Al; two daughters, Betty Trombley of Champlain and Dolores Grimsey and husband Robert of Leduc, Alberta, Canada; one son, Kevin and wife Nicky of Mooers; five grandchildren, Chris Trombley and wife Tammy of Champlain, Karen Gurzenda and husband Tom of Champlain, Nichole Favreau and husband Michael of Mooers, Rachel Strack and fiancé Jason Fresn of Mooers Forks and Joshua Strack of Rouses Point; and great - grandchildren Katie and Caleb Trombley of Champlain. MacKenzie and his wife Katja of Nashua, and Bryan Wilson and his wife Molly of Nashua; brother Fred LaFontaine of California; sister Shirley Green of Amesbury, Mass.; two grandchildren; nephews and a niece. He was born on Aug. 1, 1943, in St. Norbert, New Brunswick, Canada, the son of Alfred and Leona M. Boucher and came to the United States in 1961. He became a U.S. citizen in 2000. Mr. Boucher was a self-employed carpenter for 25 yeras. He was a member of St. Josephs Church, the American Legion Post 429, and the St. Joseph Club, all in Fitchburg. Mr. Boucher was a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1965 to 1967. He loved to read history books and treasure hunting. Besides his mother, Leona M.
