Après ses études classiques au Juvénat des Pères Redemptoristes, de philosophie à Ottawa et de théologie à Montréal, il a été ordonné prêtre à Québec le 30 mai 1931. Il fut successivement vicaire aux paroisses de Paspébiac, St-Henri de Lévis, Charny, L’Ancienne Lorette et de la Nativité de Notre-Dame de Beauport. De 1952 à 1965, il a été à la direction de la Mutuelle des Fabriques pour l’Est du Québec avant d’accéder, en 1965, à la Procure de l’Archevêché de Québec dont il prendra sa retraite en 1989. Les funérailles auront lieu en la Basilique Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-Québec, le mardi 5 février 2002, à 11h. La famille recevra les condoléances en la Sacristie de la Basilique Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-Québec à compter de 10h. L'Abbé Rosaire Lambert est décédé le 11 avril 2000 à l'hôpital général de Saint-Boniface (Winnipeg) à l'âge de 77 ans . L'Abbé Lambert né le 24 octobre 1922 à La Pocatière (Kamouraska), était fils de feu M. Francois-Xavier Lambert et de feu dame Mary Vallière. Il fit son école primaire à La Pocatière (1929-36), son collège à Ste-Anne-de-la-Pocatière (1936-43) ainsi que sa Philosohie (1943-45). Il obtint son B.A. de l'Université Laval (1945). Mapping & Surveying 1960 à Scanton, Ohio et Building Estimating de l'Université McGill (1965). Il prit sa Théologie à Saint-Boniface (1967-68) et à Edmonton (1969-71). Bac. Théologie-Newman Theological College (1971). Incardiné au diocèse de Saint-Boniface en 1967, il fut ordonné prêtre le 13 juin 1971 en l'église St-Emile à Saint-Vital par Mgr Maurice Baudoux.Il fut successivement vicaire à la Broquerie (1971); vicaire économe à Woodridge et région et vicaire à St-Emile (1972); curé à Fannystelle et Starbuck (1975); curé à St-Léon (1983); Otterbune (1986). Il prend sa retraite en octobre 1986 et tout en demeurant à la résidence Saint-Antoine, il demeure en disponibilité de ministère. Il se rend comme vicaire dominical aux SS. Martyrs-Canadiens (1987) et comme aumônier adjoint au Centre Hospitalier Taché (1987). Il continua à rendre service aux paroisses et aux chapelles d'été en besoin. Dans sa grande bonté de coeur, Rosaire était toujours prêt à rendre service.M. L'Abbé Rosaire Lambert laisse dans le deuil, ses frères: Richard Lambert (Rivière Ouelle), Dr. Benoit Lambert (Hull), R.P. Bernard Lambert O.P. (Québec) et Josaphat Lambert (Ste-Foy). (1909-1999) - 1933 (Adolphe + Marguerite Roberge) LE SOLEIL 1999-11-11 LAMBERT Mgr David Le neuf novembre 1999, à la Résidence Cardinal-Vachon, est décédé Mgr David Lambert, à l'âge de 90 ans. Il était le fils de feu monsieur Adolphe Lambert et de feu madame Marguerite Roberge. Né à Sainte-Marie-de-Beauce, il fit ses études au séminaire de Québec. Ordonné prêtre le 15 juin 1933, il poursuivit des études supérieures à l'Angelicum de Rome et à l'Université de Lille, France. De 1943 à 1958, il oeuvra à la direction de l'Action Catholique diocésaine. Il a été nommé Camerier Secret en 1957. Ensuite il a été aumônier dans différentes institutions religieuses, spécialement chez les Servantes du Très St-Sacrement de 1973 à 1994. Il laisse dans le deuil outre ses confrères prêtres, les membres de sa famille dont ses nièces Sr Angèle Marie o.s.b. (Louise Larochelle), Yolande Larochelle; ses neveux Jacques et Claude Larochelle; ses petits-neveux François Larochelle et Nicolas Giraldeau. Un service religieux sera célébré le vendredi 12 novembre, à 11h, en l'église des Sts-Martyrs canadiens, rue Père-Marquette, Québec. La famille recevra les condoléances une heure avant, à l'église. C’est avec regret que les Dominicains du couvent Saint-Dominique de Québec vous font part du décès du père Bernard Lambert, dominicain. Il est décédé le 10 avril 2004 à l’âge de 83 ans. Originaire de Saint-Anne-de-la-Pocatière, il était le fils de feu François-Xavier Lambert et de Mary Vallières. Après ses études au Collège Saint-Anne-de-la-Pocatière, il entre chez les Dominicains du Canada en 1942. Dès 1946 il part étudier à Rome où il est ordonné prêtre en 1948. A son retour en 1950, il enseigne au couvent d’études à Ottawa, puis est assigné à la maison Montmorency près de Québec. De 1954 à 1958 il fait des séjours aux Universités Fordham et Columbia. En 1960, il est stagiaire au Conseil OEcuménique des Églises à Genève avant d’être observateur officiel à la quatrième Conférence de Foi et Constitution à Montréal en 1963. Pendant le Concile Vatican II, il est conseiller théologique auprès de S.E. le Cardinal Maurice Roy, archevêque de Québec Il collabore au commentaire collectif de la constitution conciliaire sur l’Église dans le monde de ce temps à la préparation de laquelle il prit une part très active au concile. Il participa aussi aux synodes des évêques à Rome en 1969 et 1971. A partir de 1972, il agit comme conseiller de la Conférence épiscopale des évêques du Québec. Il a publié de nombreux ouvrages sur l’Église, l’oecuménisme et la spiritualité. Depuis 2002, il résidait au Pavillon Saint-Dominique de Québec. Le père Lambert laisse dans le deuil, outre sa famille religieuse, ses frères Benoît et Josaphat ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces. Nous remercions tout particulièrement l’abbé Denis Veilleux, Sr Angela Veilleux et les Dominicaines du Pavillon Saint-Dominique de Québec qui, généreusement, ont veillé sur lui au cours des dernières années. Le père Bernard Lambert sera exposé au couvent des Dominicains à Québec situé au 175, Grande-Allée Ouest, le jeudi 15 avril de 15h à 17h30 et de 19h à 22h, puis le vendredi 16 avril à partir de 8h30. Une célébration de la Parole est prévue le jeudi à 19h30. Ses funérailles auront lieu le vendredi 16 avril à 10h30 en l’église Saint-Dominique de Québec. L’inhumation est prévue le même jour à Saint-Hyacinthe, au cimetière des Dominicains, 2200 rue Girouard, à 16h00. LAFLAMME, 85, of 1044 Mendon Rd., a clerk for the Department of Defense before she retired, died yesterday at Landmark Medical Center. Born in Woonsocket on Aug. 3, 1919, a daughter of the late Francois and Irene (Doucette) Laflamme, she had lived in Cumberland for 26 years before moving to Woonsocket in 1999. Miss Laflamme had been employed as a clerk for the Defense Department at the Quonset Navy Base, Davisville, for 30 years before she retired in 1979. She then worked at Florence Dye for four years. She was a communicant of St. Joan of Arc Church, Cumberland, and a former member of its Parish Council. She was a member of the Union St. Jean the Baptiste, Woonsocket, and a former member of the Manville and Albion Senior Citizen groups. She was a former volunteer at the Epheta House Retreat Center, Cumberland, a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and a graduate of the former St. Clare High School. She leaves a brother, Conrad Laflamme of North Smithfield; a sister, Gertrude Laflamme, with whom she lived; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edmond and Lionel Laflamme. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Joan of Arc Church, Cumberland. He leaves a brother, Gerald Dumont of Woonsocket; and three sisters, Anita Demarzi of Franklin, Mass., Florence Palkovich of Woonsocket and Joan Regine of Providence. He was the brother of the late Henry, Roland, and Theresa Dumont. CHAGNON, 86, of Elizabeth Street, a retired portrait photographer, died Thursday in Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Jeannette L. (Hubert) Chagnon. They had been married for 59 years. Born in Fall River, a son of the late Ovide and Diana (DePondbriand) Chagnon, he was a lifelong resident of the Fall River area. Mr. Chagnon had been the owner and operator of Chagnon Photo Services for over 50 years, and was best known for his school and wedding photos before retiring in 1990. He was educated in Fall River, and was a communicant of Notre Dame Church. He enjoyed shopping and dining out, and was an avid New England sports fan. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Diane Nadeau of Somerset; a son, Norman G. Chagnon of Newport News, Va.; and five grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Raymond and Adrian Chagnon. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., with a funeral Mass at 10 in Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, 529 Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.

Mrs. Joachim had worked as a private-duty nurse before retiring over 20 years ago. She enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her dog, Suzie. She leaves three daughters, Kimberley A. Brungardt of Saratoga, Wyo., Deborah J. Johnson of Hudson, Fla., and Lynn M. Kay of Attleboro; a son, Bryan N. Joachim of Rehoboth; two sisters, Dorothy Starkweather of Biddeford, Maine, and Betty Davis of Portsmouth; a brother, Franklin Neville of Tiverton; and nine grandchildren and a great-grandson. Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Philias and Clara (Moreau) Dupras, he was a lifelong resident of Central Falls. Mr. Dupras had been an engineer at the former Fram Corp., Rumford, for over 40 years before retiring. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a 47-year member of American Legion Post 33, Lincoln. Mr. Dupras was an avid golfer, and enjoyed playing at Stone-E-Lea Golf Course, Attleboro. He leaves two brothers, Arthur Dupras of South Grafton, Mass., and Philip Dupras of Central Falls; three grandchildren, Brenda L. Buttach, Cindy L. Calabro and Tracy A. Dupras, all of Pawtucket; and four great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Leon J. Dupras Jr., and brother of the late Eugene Dupras. A funeral with military honors will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from William W. Born in Central Falls on July 3, 1949, the son of the late Normand R. and Olive P. (Ledue) Collette, he had lived in Attleboro, and later Taunton and Rehoboth before returning to Attleboro last year. Mr. Collette attended Norton, Mass., public schools, and was a communicant of St. Stephen's Church. He enjoyed visiting carnivals, fairs and amusement parks, especially the former Rocky Point Amusement Park, Warwick. He enjoyed swimming, playing video games, bowling and bike riding, and was an animal lover. He leaves a sister, Susan A. Burgess of Attleboro; a nephew, Jason M. Burgess of Fall River; and two great-nephews and two great-nieces. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. from the Commonwealth Chapel of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Ave., North Attleboro, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Stephen's Church, 683 South Main Street, Attleboro. (PROVENCHER) WILDE, 73, of Kristee Circle, a former administrative assistant, and a vocalist, died yesterday at Kent Hospital, Warwick. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Wilde. Born in Fairhaven, Mass., a son of the late Jules and Flor (Duval) Provencher, he had lived in West Warwick for many years. Mrs. Wilde had been an administrative assistant at Federal Products, in Providence, for many years, retiring in 1992. She also worked for United Way. She was a graduate of Bryant College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in management, and a master's degree in management in 1986. Mrs. Wilde was a singer and soloist in music clubs and churches throughout Southeastern Massachusetts. She enjoyed music, opera and the arts, and was an avid reader. She leaves a brother, Lucien A. Provencher of Fairhaven, Mass.; and two nephews. The funeral will be held Wednesday at a time to be announced from the Butterfield Chapel, 500 Pontiac Ave., Cranston. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Born in Fall River, on May 6, 1940, he was a son of the late Alfred and Eileen M. (Burns) Blanchette. Mr. Blanchette had been a pipe welder for Electric Boat at Quonset Point for 27 years, retiring in 2002. He was a Marine Corps veteran, serving in the Vietnam War and Korean War. Mr. Blanchette enjoyed fishing and qhoaging. He was an avid New England Patriots fan. He leaves a son, Randall Blanchette of Portsmouth; three brothers, Paul Blanchette of Northridge, Ohio, and Richard and Thomas Blanchette, both of Tiverton; five sisters, Janice Green of McDonald, Ohio, Nancy Goddard of Westport, Mary Lou Aguiar of Swansea, and Susan Blanchette and Joanne Rogers, both of Dartmouth, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. He was a brother of the late David, Patricia Ann and Margaret Blanchette, Carolyn Hathaway and Jane Dinucci. The funeral service and burial will be private.

    3. Normand Trudell Normand Trudell 1925 - 2004 HOLYOKE - Normand "Norm" Trudell, 79, died Saturday November 6th at Loomis House. He was born in Chicopee, November 2, 1925, the son of the late John and Rose (Pro-vost) Trudell. He attended local schools and was a longtime Holyoke resident. He retired in 1987 from the Holyoke Housing Authority as clerk of the works, and was also a self- employed general contractor. He is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-nine years, Jeanne (Lucier) Trudell; one son, Paul and his wife, Judy of Holyoke, and two daughters; Christine Maheux and her husband, Richard of Southwick, and Denise Como and her husband, Raymond of Westfield. He also leaves one brother; Roland of Holyoke, five sisters, Florence Trudell and Jeanette Lavigne, both of Chicopee; Claire Ison, Eleanor Jarvis, and Margaret Labonte of Holyoke. He will be sadly missed by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers; Donald, Harvey, and Roger. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 10 at 10 a.m. at the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St. (Route 5), Holyoke. The funeral procession will form beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley.     3. Henri P. Bordua Henri P. Bordua 1913 - 2004 WEST SPRINGFIELD - Henri Paul Bordua, 91, of Oxford Place died Sunday at Heritage Hall Nursing Home. He was born in Montreal and was brought up in Quebec before settling here in 1950. He was employed as a pattern maker for many years at the Crane Co. in Indian Orchard. He was formerly a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. He was the loving son of the late Emile and Marthe (Charron) Bordua, beloved widower of Geraldine (Lebel) Bordua who died in 1975, devoted father of Michael Bordua of Ludlow and Andree Fitzgerald and her husband Michael of Wilbraham, father-in-law of Gail Bordua, caring brother of Hubert Vadnais of Lachine, Canada, and devoted grandfather of Maura and Erin Fitzgerald and Paul and Julie Bordua. The funeral will be Tues. 8:30 a.m. at Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Spfld., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Church.     3. Peter Charland PORTSMOUTH - Peter P. Charland, Jr., 76, formerly of Clover Lane, Portsmouth, died at the NH Veterans Home in Tilton on Nov. 6, 2004. He was born in Franklin on Oct. 24, 1928, the son of Peter P. and Anna (Dineen) Charland, Sr. He attended schools in Franklin and graduated from Franklin High School with the Class of 1944. Following graduation, he served with The U.S. Marine Corps. from 1945 until 1948. He attained the rank of corporal. Following his discharge, he attended The Franklin Institute in Boston where he learned his trade of electrician. In 1951, he entered the U.S. Air Force where he served until 1971. During his service years, he attained several awards and attained the rank of master sergeant. After his military service, he owned and operated his own business, Charland Electric Co. in Portsmouth for several years. Several years ago, while in Franklin, he was a member of The Franklin Fire Department, and The Franklin Lodge of Elks 1280. He was also a Fourth Degree Member of The Knights of Columbus, a member of Franklin VFW Post 1698, former Franklin Moose Club and Franklin American Legion. He was a communicant of St. James Church in Portsmouth. His wife, Mrs. Claire (Bergeron) Charland, died in 1994. Family members include his five children, Ramona Charland-Brighton and her husband, Mark Brighton, of Portsmouth, Carmen Gordon and her husband, Richard Gordon, of Greenland, Peter P. Charland III of Clinton, Mass., Monica J. Williams of Greenland, and William J. Charland of Portsmouth; four grandchildren, Peter Gordon, Michael Gordon, Tylor Williams, and Benjamin Brighton; and several nieces and nephews. ---- There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 9:30 a.m. in St. James Church, Lafayette Road, Portsmouth. Burial services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Cemetery, Franklin, N.H.     3. Delphine Auger LADY LAKE, Fla. - Delphine Michaud Auger, 93, of The Villages died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at Lady Lake Specialty Care Center in Lady Lake. Born in North Woburn, Mass., on April 17, 1911, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Pomerleau) Couture. She attended schools in Berwick, Maine, and had lived in Newburyport, Mass., Somersworth, N.H., and South Berwick, Maine, prior to moving to Florida about six years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Anderson and her husband, George, Carol Gaudreault and her husband, John, all of The Villages, Fla.; a stepson, Antonio Michaud and his wife, Margo, of Port Richey, Fla.; her grandchildren, Carol Harmon of Cornish, Maine, Leanne Anderson of South Berwick, Dale Anderson of Conway, N.H., Bradley Gaudreault of Center Conway, N.H., and Janell Gaudreault of LaGrange, Ga. She also leaves eight stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and four step-great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husbands, Ludger Michaud in 1950; Robert Auger in 1976; and three sisters, Regina Perchey of South Berwick, Dorothy Couture and Bernadette Couture, both of Somersworth; and stepchildren Edgar, Albert Edward, Oscar Michaud and Bella Cox. --- Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the McIntire-McCooey Funeral Home, 301 Main St., South Berwick, Maine.
