She will be missed dearly by her soul mate, best friend and loving husband of 24 years, Allan and her two wonderful daughters, Jaclyn (Jason Stelck) and Dana. She leaves behind her mother Ghislaine Langevin, and six sisters, Carmen (Oscar) Amyotte, Marcella (Gordon) Banco, Rachel (George) Caron, Michelle (Danny) Bussiere, Louise (Darron Ward) Langevin and Pauline (Paul) Morrissette; as well as 13 nieces and nephews and one great-niece. Also mourning her loss are five sisters-in-law, Maureen (Joe) Gustafson, Kathleen (Eugene) Starko, Margo (Elmer) Kusiek, Doris (John) Campbell, and Helen Leboldus and one brother-in-law, Michael Leboldus; as well as 15 nieces and nephews. Charles Bergevin 1926 - 2005 SPRINGFIELD - Charles Bergevin, 79, of Springfield was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, October 4, 2005. He was born in Quebec City, Canada on September 8, 1926 a beloved son of the late Antonio and Alexandrine (Goulet) Bergevin and moved to Springfield in 1953. He was employed for many years by the Gerard Baillargeon Contractors in Springfield and the Johnson Acoustics, Inc. in West Springfield and retired in 1988. He was a communicant of the former Saint Joseph Church in Springfield where he served his parish as a bingo worker, an usher and a senior altar server. He was a volunteer for the Goodwill Industries and a member of the bowling league of Springfield. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Elder Council 69 in Chicopee and a member of the Archbishop Williams Assembly 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Dolores M. (Guillemette) Bergevin who was Called Home on August 18, 1997 and his loving son-in-law, Ernest M. Bedard, Jr. He leaves his loving daughters, Lise M. Bedard of Springfield, with whom he lived and Denise M. Lytton and her husband Les of West Springfield. His two cherished grandsons, Brother Ernest M. Bedard, III, OFM Cap of the Capuchin Friars in Jamaica Plain, MA and Matthew R. Brown of Bremerton, WA. His dear brothers, George Bergevin and his wife Denise and Raoul Bergevin and his wife Rita, all of Quebec City, Canada. Tessier, 78, a resident of Lowell, died Thursday evening, Nov. 23, at Saints Medical Center in Lowell, after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Edith F. (McDermott) Tessier, with whom he celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary in May. He was born in Lowell, April 5, 1928, son of the late Alderic and Yvonne (Perreault) Tessier He resided in the Pawtucketville section of the city for many years. He was a communicant of the former Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Church and St. Rita Church. Mr. Tessier was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Before retiring, Mr. Tessier was employed by the city of Lowell Water Department, for several years. Previously, he was employed as a route supervisor with Hood Dairy, Lowell Dairy and West Lynn Creamery, for many years. Mr. Tessier was an avid gardener and sports fan and especially enjoyed football and bowling. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Marie Tessier, and Carol A. and William R. Ducharme, all of Dracut; two sons and a daughter-in-law, William J. Tessier of Pepperell, and David J. and Ellen Tessier of Lowell; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Pauline and John Britton, and Jacqueline and Maurice Archambault, all of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Constance Tessier of Lowell; five grandchildren, Valerie Tessier of Pepperell, Kristin and Justin Ducharme, both of Dracut, Adam and Sara Tessier, both of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the grandfather of William Tessier, Jr. who died in 2003, and brother of the late Roger A. Tessier.

Danielle Dupont-Taddeo CHELMSFORD -- Danielle Dupont-Taddeo, 37, a resident of Chelmsford, died yesterday morning, Nov. 30, at home, after a lengthy battle with breast cancer, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Boston's Brighton section, July 1, 1969, daughter of Anthony V. and Edith (Madore) Taddeo of Chelmsford. She graduated from Chelmsford High School in 1988, and Johnson and Wales University in Providence, R.I., in 2002. She assisted in the operation of her family's business, Centre Deli of Chelmsford. Previously, she was employed with the Stonehenge Hotel in Tyngsboro, as a chef. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in North Chelmsford, where she taught religious education classes. Besides her parents, she is survived by her five loving children, Robert Dupont, 16, a student at Chelmsford High School, Aslee Dupont, 14, Christopher Dupont, 13 and EdithMay Dupont, 11, all three students at Parker Middle School, and Matthew Dupont, 7, a student at the Harrington Elementary School; her former husband, Robert A. Dupont of Lowell; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Lisa and David Drew of Dracut, and Michelle Clement and her fiancé, Marc Deon, both of Pepperell; a brother, Anthony V. Taddeo Jr. of Lexington, S.C.; her maternal grandmother, Gertrude F. McAuliffe of Hudson, N.H. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles among them Gaile and Mark Hogue of Hudson, N.H.; many nieces and nephews. She also leaves numerous close friends. She was also the mother of Anthony W. Dupont, of Chelmsford, who died at the age of 4 on Jan. 22, 2002.

Norwich Bulletin Dec. 1, 2006 M. Genevieve Francoeur Marshall April 23, 1934 - November 26, 2006 VERO BEACH FLORIDA- M. Genevieve "Jenny" Francoeur Marshall, 72, died Sunday, November 26, 2006 at Palm Beach JFK Hospital in Atlantis FL. She was born April 23, 1934 in Thortons Ferry, NH to the late Henry and Gertrude (Bigwood) Caron. Jenny was raised in New Hampshire on her family's farm. She attended Mount St. Mary's Seminary High School. She married the late Robert Francoeur on July 28, 1951. Together they raised four children in Waterford, later moving to Ledyard, CT where they established the J&B Ranch in 1975. They were married for almost 25 years until his death. Jenny married Raymond Marshall on November 6, 1976 and were married for almost 20 years until his passing in 1996. Getting her first horse at the age of eight, Jenny developed a passion for horses and cows. She was also very proud of her 40+ herd of whitefaced Herefords. She would show them at many state fairs. When she was not showing them, she was judging them. For over a decade, Jenny was an active member of the Future Farmers of America at Ledyard High School sharing her knowledge with the VoAg students. In 1996 Jenny moved to Norwich where she was a parishioner at St. Peter & Paul Church. In 2001, Jenny split her time living in CT and FL; later making Vero Beach her permanent home. She was also a parishioner at St. Helen's Church in Vero Beach. Jenny had a passion for life, living life to its fullest and overcoming many obstacles such as failing eyesight, broken kneecaps and her 59 year battle with diabetes; receiving a survivor's medal from the American Diabetes Association (ADA). She took an active role volunteering for the A.D.A, raising money. Jenny was a member of the Norwich Senior Center and was often seen playing pool and giving lessons. She enjoyed playing cards, especially poker, with the guys and UNO with her grandchildren. Jenny took classes at Three Rivers just to keep her mind sharp. Jenny is survived by her son Joseph Francoeur of Jacksonville FL; her daughters, Sharon Mercado of Gales Ferry, Michel Leask of Bozrah, Vicki Wray of Duncansville, PA; her brother Frank Caron of Vero Beach FL; her sister Marguerite Ryan of Merrimack, NH; and 11 grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husbands, she was predeceased by a brother Henry Caron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 2, 2006 at St. Peter & Paul Church in Norwich. Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in New London, CT.

Norwich Bulletin Dec. 1, 2006 Ovila H. Gagnon "Frenchy" 1912 - 2006 PUTNAM - Ovila Henri "Frenchy" Gagnon, 94, died on November 30, 2006 in Plainfield. Born in Sherbrooke, Canada, he was the son of the late Adelard and Lucendy (Gagniere) Gagnon. He lived in Putnam for many years. Mr. Gagnon was employed for 29 years at Putnam Foundry as a Core Maker and 11 years at Annhurst College, St Mary's Church and Cemetery as a maintenance man. He also worked as a professional dress man for the Gilman Funeral Home. He was a member of the Redmen Club and Putnam Senior Citizen Club. He leaves one son, Raymond Gagnon of El Paso, TX; a sister, Yvonne Beaucage of Hudson, NH; and three grandchildren. He was the brother of Lorenzo Gagnon, Marion Roy and Audila Auger.

Bergevin, 37, of 1510 Main St., formerly of Townsend, a longtime roofing contractor, died yesterday at home after a long struggle with cancer. He leaves his father, Richard H. Bergevin of Lunenburg; his mother and stepfather, Brenda A. (Schrow) Gaudette, and Joseph E. Gaudette, with whom he lived; a brother, Kevin B. Bergevin, all of Leominster; two sisters, Tracy L. Lothrop of Hooksett, N.H., and Lisa A. Bergevin of Leominster; his maternal grandparents, Henry and Ethel Schrow of Lowell; a nephew; and two nieces. He was born in Groton and lived most of his life in Townsend before moving here in 1988. He graduated from North Middlesex Regional High School, Townsend, in 1977. Mr. Bergevin was a self-employed roofing contractor for many years. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Lunenburg Chapel of Sawyer-Miller Funeral Homes, 763 Massachusetts Ave., Lunenburg. Burial will be in private. There are no calling hours.
