Mr. Gamache served in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a machinist with Mold-a-Matic and for Chrysler. He was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church in Romeo, Knights of Columbus Council 7016 of Romeo and St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Sterling Heights where he was involved with the Legion of Mary, Men of the Sacred Heart and its Men's Club. He was involved in the MCREST program in Romeo for the homeless. He is survived by three daughters, Tracy (Neil) LaCount of New York, Marcy Simmons of Lake Orion and Michelle Gamache (Bob Rizzo) of Lake Orion; three sons, Steven (Lyne) Gamache of Washington Township, Todd (Amie) Gamache of Lake Orion and Jason (Aimee) Gamache of Romeo; two brothers, Ron (Christine) Gamache of Yale and Jimmy Gamache of New York; a sister, Joan Hughes of New York; the children's mother, Madelyn Gamache; and 15 grandchildren. Né à Montréal le 24 août 1921, il était le fils posthume de feu le dentiste Louis-Napoléon Desjardins et de feu Léocadie Dubois. Il fut ordonné prêtre le 25 janvier 1947. Il obtint une maîtrise en théologie et un baccalauréat en pédagogie. Il débuta comme vicaire à Sainte-Scholastique et durant cinq ans à N.D. Auxiliatrice de Verdun. Il fut aumônier à la C.E.C.M. durant 20 ans, aumônier-auxiliaire au Centre Saint-Valier (cour juvénile) et aumônier à l'Hôpital Saint-Michel durant 12 ans. Mr. Langevin designed dining facilities for the federal government, and was a veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force. Besides his wife and his mother, he leaves three daughters, Laura Finan and Gayle Osborne, both of Hertford, and Nancy Dinkel of Knotts Island, N.C.; a son, Ernest A. Langevin Jr. of Chesapeake, Va.; a brother, Edmund J. Langevin of Natick; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He is survived by his three daughters, Kathleen (Bill) Bodford of Memphis, Tenn., Karen (Dr. William) Hurley of Olympia, Wash., and Mary (Demare) Gil of Roanoke, Va.; grandchildren, Brianna (Brad) Eldred, Katie and Ian Bodford, Erin, Amber and Alex Hurley, Ryan and Ashley Pimlott and Mariah Gil; great-granddaughter, Harper Eldred; former wife and close friend, Leona Bergevin; brother, Louis (Beth) Bergevin. Ed served in World War II aboard the USS North Carolina. He worked for Southern Colorado Power Co. from 1951 to retirement, where he was known for his creative mechanical inventions, which greatly aided in job efficiency. Langevin NATICK -- Edmund A. Langevin, 79, of Natick, died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at MetroWest Medical Center in Natick. He was the husband of Stacia M. (Suprena) Langevin. They were married for 56 years. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Edmund J. and Lena G. (Bresse) Langevin and was a lifelong resident of Natick. He was educated in the Natick school system and was a graduate of Natick High School, Class of 1944. He was an electrician for the General Motors Corp.'s Framingham plant for 15 years, retiring in 1989. An avid golfer, Mr. Langevin was a member of the St. Linus Golf League and Point Sienna Golf Club in Kissimmee, Fla. He was a member of the Natick AMVETS, the Moose Lodge of Kissimmee and the USS Bunker Hill Association. A veteran of World War II, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy at the age of 16 and served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Leonard E. Langevin of LaQuinta, Calif.; a daughter, Linda A. Wright of Natick; five grandchildren, Christine Langevin, Timothy Langevin, Stacia Wright, Paul Langevin and Danielle Langevin; two great-grandchildren, Andrew Wright and Zachary Ryan Langevin; and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late James M. Langevin and the brother of the late Ernest Langevin and Irene Bilodeau. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 13, at 9 a.m., at St. Linus Church.
