He was born August 12, 1934 in Eau Claire, the son of James and Katherine (Urness) McCaghy. He had worked for Graphic Printing in Eau Claire for 29 years. He served in the United States Army in Korea and was in graves registration from 1956 to 1959. He married Geraldine Bergevin on July 11, 1959 at Notre Dame Church, Chippewa Falls. He was a member of St. Charles Church. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; three daughters, Michelle (Ken) Arneson and Melinda (Allen) Walker both of Chippewa Falls and Melissa Halmstad of Ladysmith; his father-in-law, Wilfred Bergevin of Chippewa Falls; one sister, Marcella (Don) Corn of Menomonie; six grandchildren, Katie and Spencer Mayer, Justin and Emmet Walker and Brandon and Sebastian Halmstad and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two grandchildren, Sabrina Halmstad and Zachary Mayer. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2003 at St. Charles Church, Chippewa Falls. Rev. Albert Sonnberger will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls. Military rites will be conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council. Adeline M. LeDuc - (Duluth News Tribune) Adeline M. LeDuc, 73, of Hibbing, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Adeline was born Jan. 23, 1933, in Chisholm, Minn., to John and Nathalie Wegener. She graduated from Chisholm High School in 1951. Adeline married Francis LeDuc on June 15, 1974. Unfortunately, she lost Fran to a massive heart attack on July 4, 1977. After Fran's death, Adeline was employed as a lift truck driver. She was a long time member at the Church of Christ in Hibbing, Hibbing Community Senior Citizen's, Tourist Senior Citizen's, and a supporter of Animal Allies. Adeline loved to crochet beautiful afghans, and enjoyed playing Bingo and cards. Her passion was to go to rummage sales and spend time with her pets. Adeline had a heart for serving others and spent many volunteer hours in her community. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frances; and dear friend, Arnold Gist. She is survived by her two brothers, John (Lynn) Wegener of Sun Lake, Ariz., and Dennis (Judy) Wegener of Iron; close loving friend, LouAnn (Gene) Rands of Cotton; grandchildren, Amy Kyte and Chris (Rebecca) Rands; grand grandchildren, Sam and Addison Kyte and Lily Ann Rands; dear friend, Donald Saline of Duluth; many cousins, nieces, and nephews; the Gist family; and a host of friends. Mrs. Lemoine had been a saleslady at the former Seena's clothing store, in Arctic, for 30 years before retiring in 1976. She was a communicant of St. William Church, Warwick, and a member of the Cranberry Pond Apartments Residents Association.
